What?! You mean PGI has to make some money to keep the servers going and pay for continued development of the game? Who would have ever though that this is how a business works?

The only mech that was arguably P2W when it came out was the Yen Lo Wang. Right before the Yen Lo Wang was released, the Centurion AH was removed from the game, leaving the Yen Lo Wang (which is only available for MC) as the only Centurion that could carry and AC/20. Now, years later, I have my AH back, thanks to a PGI that is now free of IGP. Also, I have destroyed many Timber Wolves with IS and Clan mechs alike, so just use one of the Many mechs that are available for Cbills while you wait for the pre-order mechs to be released for Cbills.
Also, please grow up and try to understand that a Free-To-Play game can still be free-to-Play without making every item in the game free (you do not need a Timber Wolf to play MWO).

Two weeks ago, the Timber Wolf was unquestionably the best 'mech in the game, with no contenders, and was only available for real money.
People were still able to take out Timber Wolves with mechs that they bought with Cbills and more importantly, people still did not need a Timber Wolf to be able to play MWO (for free).

I put $300 dollars into the game when it was fun in closed beta 2 years ago. Since the introduction of Stalker the game went downhill.
Right now it's boring gamemodes on terrible maps, awful hit detection and disgrace to CryEngine and PC gaming as a whole.
I stopped giving them money a year ago and don't want to give any more at this point.
Also, UI2.0 is a complete insult to human intelligence.

That is great, I too have spent quite a bit on MWO, but how is that relevant to whether the Timber Wolf is P2W or not?

Is that how PGI Defense Force works? Spitting nonsense?
In my post I explained why I didn't buy TW, because you have to have principles in what current gaming is.
The game is uninteresting mess, TW was P2W for 4 months. These are facts.
Gotta love american target audience.

My reply was quite clear and understandable. And the game being an "uninteresting mess" and the TW being "P2W for 4 months" are opinions, not facts. Do you have concrete data proving that, in the four months the TW was out and not available for Cbills, TW were the reason for every Victory in MWO?

With all early releases that are not horrible, the fuss comes from the people that cannot get one themselves, so they complain about those that can.
