You are not god. Stop standing out in the open. Just because you got owned by T-wolves in the past doesn't mean you can just go where ever you want and dodge bullets like neo. You still have to learn to twist, dodge, and stay in cover.

I've seen so many of these c-bill t-wolves just standing out in the open and getting ripped apart when they overheat after alpha striking.

Although they are quite delicious for my Raven,

DON'T LISTEN TO THIS GUY, NEW TWOLF PILOTS.

Keep doin' what you're doin'. You pick a nice piece of real estate out in the open, and jealously protect it against the kill stealing incursions of your teammates. If you don't want to do that, LEAD CHARGES. Make sure your team is far enough away from you that they will appreciate your majesty and skill when they arrive. Don't worry about dying, you can tank like a boss, and the sheer intimidation factor of putting the graceful lines of your mech under the crosshairs of your enemies will often cause them to fight poorly as they struggle to battle the sudden onset of incontinence gripping their bodies.

Welcome to online gaming and the world in general. People are going to say mean things and you sometimes might get offended. I would recommend not taking it so personal.

LOL, Yeah.... Thanks for clearing that up for all of us, and the tip.... priceless ;)

Laziness, stereotyping and buffoonery. Bravo for being the problem and not the solution.

Back on topic.

Feels good to core them out with a Wubderbolt, they have juicy legs and torsos for sure.

But... but... CLAN ARE OP'D!!! One shot alpha's, superdamage and epic range...

Or maybe Clan pilots had to get really freaking good at driving crap they paid $$$ to beta test and eventually FORCED themselves to get really good at it, despite all the nerfing? With making it "look" easy, it gave way to the fallacy that "Timber Wolves are God mechs?"

Meh, either way, I'll be having loads of fun with my flamers against new Timber Wolf pilots now.... MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

A bad in a TW is 354% more powerful* than a bad in a solid IS mech, TW is so forgiving of piloting mistakes its disgusting.

*fact, from 100% reliable anonymous source.

What do you even mean by laziness? Are you using words that you don't know the definition to?

Well, if either of you didn't take stuff so personal we wouldn't even have a problem right now. Regardless of how you got your Timber Wolf or your Stalker, I could give a ****. I call the crappy trial mechs, welfare mechs too. Now, since he got all bent out of shape about it, that's why I had such a garbage response to his butthurt. I'm well aware that you don't need to buy anything and I didn't realize people were so defensive and would automatically think I was calling them poor (it's ok to be poor, I'm poor) because they didn't drop cash on a Timber or a Clan package at all. Who cares?

When I referred to them as "Welfare Timbers" what I was implying is that there are going to be so many garbage, stock Timbers with 0 efficiencies unlocked OR people trying out random builds because they don't have a clue.

Hurry guys, let's make a scene and display our low self-esteem and reading comprehension skills. Lets also assume we know what the person means and jump to conclusions and then get mad when they have a ****** response to our poor attitude, instead of just asking what the person meant beforehand, so we decide how we should respond to what the person was saying and what context they were saying it.

I'll make sure I type out long paragraphs detailing every emotion I'm feeling and the context of what I type beforehand from now on, since the common first response from people is to get their panties in a wad.

Most pilots in this game like to hide, and avoid fighting at all costs save to chase the already cored mechs down in hopes of stealing the kill.

Put those kinds of pilots in a Timberwolf, and they aren't much of a threat.

The saddest are the ones with LRMs, hiding in the back of the team, practically immobile.

Sadly the good Timberwolves were sold for real $$, and the bad ones given with Cbills, so still pay2win.

Care to explain what's better about any mech bought with $$ compared to the ones available for MC/CB (aside from some cosmetic differences and the CB bonus)?

It's always the same with new mechs.
Learn how to play them, master them, find a loadout that suits your playstyle, have fun, move on to the next mech.

If I were a clanner, I'd shoot down every dirty Innersphere pilot I saw in a Timberwolf. (Oh, you're on my team? Be lucky I didn't bring a flamer, a machine gun, and a small laser to pelt you with. Actually I'm kinda tempted to rebuild my LCT-1V just for the purpose of doing that.)

Ummmm Yeah...... We need to learn to read? What you have suggested and Implied is just so false it's not even funny. If PGI was giving out 1 million C-bills to every pilot, every game, win or lose, no matter how you play than.... ummmm Yeah.. your "Welfare Timbers" would be a accurate statement. However..... even if they gave out that much per match played, it would still take 15 matches just for one of those "Welfare Timbers" as you put it. 46 matches for all three, and in fact would take even the best pilots at least 9.2 hours of game play to obtain them.

Seeing how most pilots right now are lucky to make even 900K a hour with PT, hero mech used every drop.... it would now jump that time up to around 50 hours of game play. Lets say 50% or more of the player base is only making 40-50% of that 900K every hour they play..... now they have to play 100-110 hours to EARN those 'WELFARE TIMBERS". Ummm yeah..... you are so right, there will be millions of those "Welfare Timbers" on the field.....because everyone can afford to pick them up since PGI is just giving them away like candy...

I am not even gonna go into the time it will take to master them all with the XP earnings....

No one is butt hurt or has their panties in a wad from your remark..... I think you just got called out for making a troll comment is all. It happens..... once again, thanks for being the problem, and not apart of the solution. Well done Sir ;)

Back on topic....

As a pilot that has been playing for over a year now, I have only one Timber in my hanger, with only 13 other mechs, 3 of which are Hero mechs. I had to make a choice not to buy the other two Storm Crows right now, so I can master my prime, because of lack of C-bills. After playing god only knows how many hours to save up for the rest of my Crows... K-pow, Timbers got released for C-bills yesterday. I had 14 million saved, and had to sell off a few things in my inventory, (IS command module being one of them for only 500K, paid 1 million for it) so I could buy just ONE Timber.

To all that say or claim the Timber is Over powered I just do not see it. Is it a strong Heavy mech for the Clans....yes it is. Over powering.....IMO, no it isn't. I almost didn't even buy the Timbers after playing them fully mastered and on the test server. This is sad, because Timber wolfs is and has been one of my most loved mechs for over 25 years in the BT games that have come before this game. It just didn't seem to fit my play style at all. I have given it a second chance, and with my prime, 4 clan medium lasers and 4 Srm6 I can put down some decent damage in matches.... nothing to brag about, but decent. I tried 5 clan medium pulse lasers at first, with only 2 srm6's, but decided to blow the 1 million I made in the first hour of game play with the Timber last night on Omni pods, (the S side torso's).

Bad pilots come in all shapes and with all wallet sizes. I have seen in game pilots that have had Gold Timbers that could not pilot them worth a damn. They couldn't hit the broad side of a barn if they tried. One game this happened in the Golden Timber pilot was by some freak chance the last pilot standing on our team, and he was really really bad. One of the funniest and saddest games I think I have ever partaken in. :(

You obviously can't read either but I'm not going to bother to explain it again so I'll just do this... QFT

As you can see, I also adjusted the font size in case your eyes are what's giving you the problem with your ability to read. But lets be honest, people just like to get upset over nothing. Thankfully, this isn't Best Friends Online.

LOL... I think I did read your reply, and I in fact did address why I believe your first bold Quote is just derp..... fud.... and complete BS. In order for it to be even remotely true, or correct, accurate PGI would have to boost earnings for ALL players to 1 million per match, and then you would have a point. Till then.... I don't believe we will see the "Welfare Timbers" that you have claimed will be "EVERY WHERE" and running a muck in our drops. Moving on now.....

Last night the heavy cue stayed at around 34-38%..... Until they put the Timber in as a trial mech.... or players have the time needed to save up for the Timbers, I don't think it will change very much. I feel your pain... I was trying to master my crows, and the Cent and my Griffins this last week. Wait times are bad if you are dropping mediums...and much worse than a heavy.
