Since you started, I have noticed my pings went up from 50-70 to over 100. Some times they have at time reached in the 500+ range. It doesn't happen often, but recently I have noticed the ping times went up.

Normaly I have 125 - 140 ping. This weekend I had some peak at 200. There were quite some jumps in mid game.

Ping has been terrible the past couple of weeks. I could manage with a 250 ping but 300+ is.....annoyingly hard.
Also, when my ping was 250 i did a tracert and there were no doubles.

I would like to report that after the relocation my ping got better and after patches I don't have connections dropped for a while any more.
Still, I see some ruberbanding lights, and ocasionally even I have teleported.

There's still something fishy going on with this issue or something related to it. Why? Because I fired couple of hours ago 5 Clan Large Pulse lasers to the front CT of a cataphract 50 meters away from me. He was basically right at my face. Single large pulse laser does 13 damage, 5 of them does whooping 65 damage. Yet his armor barely even changed colour from yellow to orange. I lost my Dire's side torso and I was down to 3 large pulse lasers and I fired them again to his CT and in theory I should have dealt 39 points of damage to his ct for surely changing its colour from orange to red, yet it stood red. After that I died to his fire.

The below tracert was taken just moments after this incident happened. The weird thing here is that tracert seems to be just fine but still my hits aren't getting registered. Dealing 65 damage to any mech's front CT should turn it red. Even Atlas can take only 2 of that kind of alphas before going down with the 3rd alpha. That's with 100 points of front CT armoring.

Not to meantion heavy mechs can't even carry that much armoring in the front CT the best they could be carrying is around 85 points. 85 points and 65 points dealt damage means there's only left 20 points of armoring. That armoring should show up as red or at least orange and should be gone after dealing 39 points of damage to it with 3 large pulse lasers.



There is still something seriously wrong with this but I have no idea what and why even my pulse lasers don't always register correctly. Is this a server issue where CPU skips cycles because it is defected or something? I don't know. Is there some sort of desync problem because my PC can pump out only 25 FPS under worst possible loads in the heat of battle? I don't know. Usually I have around 30-40 FPS during normal battles.

But what I have noticed is that I ALWAYS have issues with the 10th hop aka amsix2 router hop. It always loses packets or connection and not a single time it has returned all 3 pings back to me when I have done the tracert to your IP. It also makes the tracert command always wait for a bit before the ping request times out. And I repeated that tracert to your IP over 10 times one after another and always that amsix2 router caused packet losses or dropped ping requests. Every single time. Not even once all 3 requests went through and came back. I sometimes even got timeouts with it when pinging it.

That router could be the issue with my problems even though my ping itself is stable where as my friends Troopie and DeathCourier report that their ping starts to go up and down over 100 ms after 10pm our local time which is gmt +2.

And last but not least, that amsix2 router even gave me once a whooping 106 ms of ping and only returned that single one ping request out of all 3.

Again the same thing happened. I was in my shadowhawk and I fired 22 + 22 SRMs straight to back of a locust and not a single hit registered. That's total of 94,6 damage eaten by back armor of 8 plates tops.

Yep. There still is something seriously wrong with hitregging. 2 alphas with 5x clan large pulse lasers is 130 damage. I fired my lasers more than worth of 4 alphas aka 20 times. Dealt only 243 damage.

And hit everytime all the way through the burn time.

This would be what I'm getting, I live in the Louisville, KY area and had almost no issues when I moved into my new house back in July but here in the past month or two, I constantly have "disconnected from game server" and have to attempt to rejoin five or six times. Once I get in, I have to disconnect and reconnect back to get my hud to appear. Its very irritating but I'm not sure where the problem lies.

I always have an ordinary connection, the lag spiking is annoying but the lack of hit registration for me since the server move is abysmal. Only front loaded damage weapons are useful at all, and even then they are a bit dodgy. Point blank shots with PPC or SRM never register

I have no idea what this tracert means.....
