One of the big questions I have for the future post Phase 2 of CW is the concept of attrition. Will it be possible to whittle down the resistance of a world either through direct action or cutting off supply lines? Will this be possible through the Strategic map and/or through special missions you can run on the planet itself? Will we be able to perform raids on worlds behind the lines to strike at factories and supply lines to weaken worlds? On the other side will it be possible to get defensive bonuses if you keep your supply lines strong.

I'd like to point out that the Mist Lynx has the entirety of its weapons on its arms. There's only two other light mechs in the entire game with all their weapons on their arms, and I own one of them - its arms goes quick, and while its possible that the Jump Jets will be the difference for the Mist Lynx, I doubt it. I can't tell if there are any potential torso-mounted weapons via omnipods for the Mist Lynx via Sarna, so there may not be any lore omni pods to deal with this, assuming that arm loss is a major problem for the Mist Lynx.

Are Lone Wolves/Mercenary Corporations about to become extinct ??
You may wish to view the links for context (if you have the time)
This is the post for context.

I am confused as to why you would effectively remove the mercenary aspect from MWOMercs. Is this a temporary thing (really), to gather data for warefare and how borders will shift and systems taken/lost, or is it temporary like knockdown(take no insult)?
Basically, are Lone Wolves/Mercenary Corporations about to become extinct ?
For clarity...

, but is it like knockdown ??????? Never return ??? No more MERCENARIES ?? No, Keep Lone Wolves and Merc Corps, just have a tag saying "Working for <insert faction here>"

It was marketed that the Phoenix Project (P) variants would have a 10% Loyalty Point Booster attached to them in addition to the Medallions given to the Phoenix Project purchasers. It has been over a year since their release without so much as a mention as to if these mechs would be getting the LP Booster.
So will (P) variants be providing increased LP gains? Will this bonus remain at 10% or will the bonus be increased to match the 30% increased gains that every other form of Mech Bonus gives now?

I am still a bit confused on Unit Selection once CW goes live, Will House Warriors be able to join a
"Canon" unit provided it is not considered Elite?
example : I am House Kurita, Will I be able to select 3rd Dieron Regulars as my unit of choice or will I be automatically assigned to a unit.

What do you mean by consistent, and how does this consistency relate to the overall balance of the game?

Cockpit Glass static dirt/dust is already simulated by my Monitor Screen which thankfully i am able to clean up so i have control over the visual disadvantage from dirt/dust on it and the reason for Cockpit Glass - the Cockpit Glass Damage Simulation - has never been implemented and i guess it is way on the backburner.
Also Cockpit Glass disabling per User Config File increased and smoothened the FPS somewhat and a game that aches that much for FPS Optimiziation should not waste FPS for an unconvenient visualy static element like Cockpit Glass.

You could designate provide a test environment for the client community to test these after a vote system in the forums. After testing players would vote again for their favorites which would then go to PGI for polish. This could be done monthly or quarterly. To further reduce work for PGI you could have volunteers or selected groups pre-test maps prior to putting them up for play.
2) Could we get more low MC cost stickers/applications for the exterior of mechs? I'd love to have kill counters, faction logos, or just images available for the exterior of my Mechs.
3) If you could allow us to assign lances in 12 man public drops I would be so happy.

CW Questions:
- Wouldn't it make sense if CW was 1PV only? After all its the "hardcore RP mode" of MWO.
- How do you feel about the fact that a set of modules costs more than the mech + upgrades + weapons most of the time? With no sharing and no swapping players are required to buy 4 sets of modules at these very high cbill costs. Is this working as intended?
- If some planets are expected to be ALL Clan factions versus ALL IS factions.. What happens if the Clan side wins? Whose color/control does the planet revert to and how is that determined?
- (2 parts): Can you create a group in CW that isn't 100% of a particular faction? e.g. can a merc unit planning to fight for say Kurita make a 12-man out of mercs from their unit, solo mercs and some random Kurita players and then drop on the Kurita side? What are planned the limitations on group formation in CW at this time?
- How concerned are you that with FIFO matchmaking newer players or bad players and especially players in trial mechs joining CW solo will hurt their own team/faction performance and because of that be mistreated by their own team who wishes they hadn't hit drop? What can be done about this?
- Any plans to use the timeline appropriate IS "alliances" (in a broad sense) of FedCom vs Liao/FWL/Kurita for the IS vs IS portions of CW?
- Has there been any consideration to having different planets run on different time window schedules? For instance there could be EU planets that take X days to flip but are only contested during the "EU" time windows so that only those players determine the outcome of the battle. Otherwise there may be timezones that always feel like they go to sleep knowing that all their work can be undone.
- Has there been any thought to making the "token" gains variable instead of every win is worth exactly the same? For instance if a unit is on a big winning streak perhaps beating them is worth more than a single token? Or perhaps beating a team of all solo players in a 12-man shouldn't be worth as much? Things to that effect.

How will PGI deal with players or groups of players that are baiting other players into violating the Code of Conduct?
There are players or a group of players that are baiting other players into violation the code of conduct into using inappropriate language, then making three nice sounding messages, followed by "You're negatively affecting my gaming experience" for a nice screen shot and covering up the other in game messages. Some of these players have been banned until recently.

I personally want this one.

In order to help new people out, any chance to give them a little more help in getting their feet wet?
The 25 cadet bonus is ok, however maybe consider after their completion allowing them to select a chassis of their choice.
1. Keep same 25 match payout.
2. Same 4 free mech bays.
3. Chassis of choice when completed. (ex: they select Jagger, and get 3 variants)
4. Apply it to current players that have less than 1k matches.
Reasoning: the economy is kinda harsh for new players who really don't know all the little tricks for banking. The biggest perks to the game is building/xp mechs, and they really don't get experience it until a quit brutal grind. And with the amount of mechs to choose from, I personally could not see an issue with giving them one to call their own right out the gate.

I know it's been brought up before, But in some of the maps I look around and think what it would look like if I where in, say, an Elemental. Some of the plant life in the maps simply look far too big and it makes my Mech feel too small!
The new Swamp map looks really cool, But I have a feeling we'll feel like Fleas on it.
I do love this game though, so keep up the good work!
