Got my 20 points, its been two matches and nothing yet in the prize department, either theres a delay or it happens on monday.

I can't even get a single qualifying match. At first I thought, "Oh nice, one kill or one assist. I can totally survive and help win if I don't need a kill... Time to bring a Light!". Then I read that you need both a kill and an assist, on top of surviving and winning.

It's the perfect storm of "nope, sorry, you're never getting that Victor".

Whats the umpah about being a Champion? Just a C next to the name?

I do suspect this is a case of Less QQ, more PEW PEW. That attitude ain't getting you anywhere.

EDIT: Now showing that I CANNOT survive or win playing anything that's NOT a 3L this weekend. The shame...

So I already hate the tubes..first build was 2 ER PPC, 3xSRM6+Artemis. Splat is a no go on the Victor sadly. Figured it would be a bigger cousin to my splathawk.

Very partial to the top one, on paper. Maybe drop an LRM5 for JJ. Packings SOME LRMs for PUG is great, I've found; if every mech ran an LRM 5-10 an around 1-2 tons Ammo, you can cause serious damage, and you've got this huge in close punch.

I ran a Stalker and still run my Cent similar to that.

7/20. Thsi challenge depends on your team a lot, if you get into poor teams 20x in a row you won't have a pleasant weekend.

Here's how it's going so far:

ML 1st Match - Viridian Bog, manage to SPL some Mechs, then got nuked by something random.
ML 2nd Match- Viridian Bog, got nuked by an SRM-2 Lolcust of all friggin things.
ML 3rd Match - Viridian F-ing Bog, got nuked straight off the bat, rage-quit the Mist Lynx.
LCT-1E 1st Match - Caustic Valley, make a hail-mary run in to the enemy, drop potentially game-winning UAV and arty, run out with 50% of my Mech left after withering 30 seconds of lead-n-laser hurricane, got nuked after my team pussed out.
TDK 1st Match - Viridian F-ing Bog, got my arm ripped off by a stray AC/20, same Hunchback gets me with same AC/20.
WHK 1st Match - River City Night, OHMYGODHOWMANYLRMSARETHERE, Get to city, tear Jaeger a new one, get swarmed to death.
FS-9E 1st Match - Caustic Valley, for some god-forsaken reason everybody focused the Ember instead of the 4 Assaults shooting them to death. Weeeee.
FS-9E 2nd Match - Doing perfect, looking great, spirits up that maybe this challenge is possible...!!!, MPL Spider (literally) cuts my legs out from under me. Booooo.
FS-9E 3rd Match - BAP countered a PB and found their team, harassed some LRM boats, get chased off by very well armed Adder, LRM boats somehow manage to keep me locked and hit me despite being directly behind a 4 story building between us.

And here we are!

MLX and Locust are incredibly unsurvivable. I'm a GOOD Locust player (Was Top Six, and then couldn't play for the rest of the chassis Event...) and I live to the end of match maaaybe 24% of the time.

If you're going lights, bring ECM. Cover your team, and don't be afraid to wuss out if you're banged up; that ECM cover is priceless. Bring a good punch; ERLL sniper is lacking. Yeah, you can poke, but you want the 30 Point near instant alpha more. That 4 Kill match? My kills included a 2 Timbers and a Boom Jager. That Lynx isn't going to come close; It's a really bad ECM Spider, or a TDK with JJ at best.

My 3L is x3 SPL x2 SRM4, btw, if you want to try and be me.


My heavy game is shite, I try to play the Jester like a big Jenner, and die. Lots. Don't do that.

I can pew pew all I want, if my team is a bunch of idiots it's not going to help.

I've played 20 matches, I'm 6-14 with 2 qualified rounds. 2 wins I failed to get a kill and the other 2 I died. One round I was team killed by a shot through my rear CT and other round I was blocked from behind and the side from returning to cover by 2 teammates.

People rush to get a kill, putting themselves and their teammates at risk, then cower behind cover hoping not to get killed. Getting a win can be difficult enough during normal play, when you add in the these two things it's just a lesson in frustration.

I thought the challenge to get 50 wins was ridiculous, this one is many times worse.

Yep. I gave up after my 15th lose in a row. MM just doesn't want me to get that Victor.
