The NDA should come down.

And we should all be allowed into beta.

And we should all be given ponies.

Entitlement is so damned boring...

An informed potential customer quickly becomes and valued consumer if they have the information they need to make a decision - get rid of the NDA and let people talk about the game without worrying about getting the ban-hammer and you will see thousands of new Founder's purchases and the success of the game assured.

I'm really keen to check out the game but I appreciate that it isn't ready yet.

And the NDAs don't just prevent kind positive well-reasoned criticisms - People naturally give more attention to what they don't like.

I worked on a mod which was released before adequate testing, and then never really managed to surmount the old negative feedback - Even when we finally had it working, the community were in general still calling our mod the most CTD ridden. They didn't care that the problems were now fixed or caused by their PC, apparently they'd simply been stung and were avoiding further investigations.

Basically you lot, me included, can't be trusted not to cause a mass hysteria of negative spin. And this is simply because we're human and that's most of what humans do - Whine! (like you're doing, and like I'm doing back at you )

It's almost worth removing it just so people can stop spamming wild speculation, getting angry about aspects of the game that don't even exist.

It's getting sort of silly to be honest.

it is really amusing, with the leaked vids i see more replies of how good it looked, and that people are thinking about getting founders now or upgrading an existing founders.

i have yet to read a bad comment about those vids...

how about that for an indication if NDA makes sense at this stage?

I could easily pick apart the video and point out several problems with it, but it's still a beta build. It'd be pointless to highlight flaws in the game at this point. Unless, that is, I wanted to ruin the game's credibility. Which I do not.

The NDA exists to minimize bad press. Even though the NDA was violated, I'm not going to contribute to any bad press.

Not sure what has gone on in the world but people's sense of entitlement has shot through the roof. I know if I spent a portion of my life trying to create something with such a stories history and legion of fans such as Battletech I would take every precaution to make sure I hit a homer in right off the bat. You can't do such without play testing, patience and due diligence. Beta is not a demo. It's an attempt by the debs to har the community help to polish off a game they have created. Harsh as the Internet is if they prematurely tried to release or reveal a product that was not up to snuff al gores creation (see what I did there). Would tear it apart. So sit tight and trust that the people who know what they are doing. Do it right.

Patience is a learned skill. Study harder.

No. Its not. If the Dev's Arent Ready Clearly it is not yet time to drop it. Im as excited as everyone else to finally get to see this game and get my hand on it, but the dev's have shown they know where there doing, if they want an NDA in place its there for a good reason.

He mentioned 911! 9/11! September 11th! Get him!

9/11? I don't recall anything happening on November 9th...

Above posts say it best. The Beta is *not* the final game, any footage from it provided by players will be missing a ton of features and it could be vastly different from the final product. Also I for one do not want to get tangled up with all the "Haha I'm in the Beta and you're not noone loves you" posts that will surely come if the NDA is dropped.

I've tested games that changed major features three times in a week and completely revamped all damage values of all weapons by a margin of 300% and this was 2 weeks from release date. I've tested games that dropped one or more major features prior to launch due to bugs not being fixed. 6 weeks is a long, long time and the game could turn upside down within that span of time (yes even to the point of mechs dying 2-3x faster than what people see today). I'm not saying this as a volunteer beta playtester either. If it's not ready, it's not ready and it's ready when the developer and publisher say it's ready. B)

The NDA is there for a valid reason, and should remain in place until whomever determined there should be an NDA in the first place decides it is time to remove it--in my opinion, at least.

like i already said, NDA is nice and dandy, and being patient is indeed a virtue, if it weren't for a limited founders option without giving your customers the chance to make a well informed decission.

have u noticed that the ppl saying to lift it r the one's who r NOT in beta or have NOT paid for one of the founders pack...hmmmm how about u stop crying like lil girs an just fork out the cash for the 30$ pack.

30$ is not a lot an on top of that if u do the 30$ u do have the option to upgrade to the better one's by just paying the difference, so fork out the 30$ an show some love to the guys (the dev's) who r making this game happen cuz if not for them we would all still b playing MW4 or MWLL

Oh look, another person with hubris trying to tell the developers what to do. :D

Hubris, i love that word. It is just fun to say I think
My opinion, they want a closed beta for a reason. I say leave them be, be patient and everything will work out in the end... B)

My Atlas wants a mech pony.... I can see it now the 100 KPH Atlas! Oh the tears B)

Ok seriously.... put up your money or shut up. On a F2P title you'll be kicking yourself in the head later for not getting one of these packages that includes a premium mech. Later you'll probably have to spend 40-60$ just for the mech and not get any extra CB to go along with the deal. Let's think about this situation for a moment.... say the game is garbage for the first 6 months (highly doubt it) but it gets better shortly afterwards. There's no subscription cost so you can WAIT for it to get good!

I'm still waiting for World of Recognizable Tank shaps to get good but that game is terribly imbalanced because Russian tanks must always be the best. After a year I've put 15$ of my money into that game.

I'm still waiting for D3 to recover from that last patch that made it terrible. I got a month of fun out of it and sold an item for $250!

The odds are with me that this game will be fantastic right from the get go!
