I love the Hauptmann's cigar small laser in the head, badass.

The Hellbringer has quickly become my favorite clan mech (over the Summoner). Sure, I miss my jump jets sometimes but I do love the ECM. Run them almost the same build too, except I have more hardpoint flexibility with the 'bringers.

Right now I'm enjoying my Prime with a LPulse, 2 MPulse, 2 MG, Streak 6 and a UAC/5. Gives me range for snipefests, fun for brawling and with the ECM and Streak (and MG's) I can even swat bugs occasionally.

Be nice to at least lose an arm or side torso before being cored occasionally though.

The hauptmann ! ....I believe was the inner sphere attempt at a daishi and was just downright mean and Nasty.

It's weird how most people refer to the Hellbringer as the Loki though. Even Clanners will say "Warhawk, Timber Wolf, Adder, Mad Dog, Summoner and Loki."

I prefer the name Loki as well. Such a good name for a powerful ECM mech.

Why type out Hellbringer, when I can type out Loki and mean the same thing?

TBH, it is a very good sniper if not outright excellent. The torso energy AND the torso ballistics (well, the first ballistic slot anyways) are pretty high. It might not be a good hill humper (the cockpit view is higher than the torso weapons, but the head laser is the highest firing point on the mech), but given what ECM is, you can pretty much snipe with impunity (outside of... not carrying Seismic and having poor awareness).

It is incredible... like ridiculous level.

You'd think they would do the same for his brother than as well. Thor/Summoner.

I only use the 'mech's real name, not what some spheroid thought they'd call them.
