Hey guys, it's been a while since we had a thread wear people can post pictures of their painted battletech minis, so here it is.
I'll start us off.
(Please excuse the lighting, they don't do the mechs justiceI can't take pictures worth a crap)
1st marik Militia medium lance (Us Kuritan's need something to shoot at you know? :D)
Spoiler

And also
Spoiler

The Kuritan lance: on these guys I used "green stuff" to create the look of dark soil, while on the other hand the Marik mechs got there bases painted shades of blue to represent water(on all of these I did this just to hide mold lines)
Spoiler

Misalanious
Spoiler

Trashed Large scale warhammer I am working on. It was a robotech toy from the early 90s That just so happens to be 1/60 scale. I am trying to repaint it in the grey death legion camoscheme as well as add random details such as duel gauss rifles as the A variant (more on that later...)

Really dig the color scheme! and your photography skills sham mine. :P The only pics I have at hand are of a bishop steiner inspired Hollander (amazing concept) conversion in a wip paint job state. with magnetized weapon options. ac,gauss and a rotary ac which I don't currently have a pic of. The miniature was actually built around a iron winds hollander believe it or not, thought most of it is scratch built, just useing the original as a skeleton. Posted Image

Looks good. Out of curiosity did you use green stuff to sculpt it?

Bump. added a project warhammer to the OP.

I also encourage anyone else who wants to show pictures of their metal min crack habit known as Battletech, I am sure many would like to see your minis!

I used all sorts of things alot of styrene, old sprue, aluminium tube, brass pins the hands and ammo bin where out of my parts box and then modified and yes some green stuff. Which is evident on the front of the head, pelvis and center torso also used to fill gaps in corners.

My only finished mech of which I am inclined to rebase on to a hex. This Mad cat MkII is not heavily altered as the base model looked so good. But a little styrene and some spares coupled with a dynamic post really set it off I think. Posted Image

Thanks Number767! I dig the paint job on your miniatures, it really highlights the mechs design and lines.

You all have cool looking stuff there. I tried collecting figurines once, then noticed my wife trainee burying them behind books or daughter trying to "play" with them. *sigh* I need a man cave with a proper lock.

Sounds like a cool daughter if she likes mechs. Also , while they weight a little, BT pieces make poor book ends..

Hot damn the Black knight's mini looks nice, I find 80-90% of the BT minis look so bad.
