No changes of Dragon 1N? Its steel top heavy mech that can destroy any other 1x1?
Ok i continue to use it B)

KD ballistic 25% + KD ac5 25% + 12% from module + 5% from skill = 67% lowered
SO ac5 cd = 33% from nominal

2ac5 at Dragon 1N = 6 nominal ac5 = 18 DPS from ballictic (8-11 t ammo)+ 2 ML + 80+ kmh

Heh, I've held off buying a 1N because I reckon it's odds-on PGI will nerf it.

A buddy of mine was already effective when using 1Ns, he couldn't believe his luck when PGI buffed the Ac5s to rapid fire level.

Hit Box corrections - Further refining of the the Mad Dog, Ice Ferret and Myst Lynx hit boxes. The focus was on reducing Mad Dog Left and Right Torso sizes, Ice Ferret primarily better distribution between the three front torsos better protecting the CT. Mist Lynx with as much reduction on the arm hit boxes as was possible.
So I know that it's old news unlike the MDD, IFR, and MLX, but the Raven's leg hitboxes are still pretty messed up. They were changed back before HSR was in the game and the Raven was unhittable, but now HSR has long since been put in and it works great, but the Raven's legs are still crippled by the temporary fix that was never removed. Any chance we could get a rework on those, too? Russ said he was pretty happy with all the hitboxes in the game after the Hellbringer fix, but that there would still be some tweaking; and the Raven desperately needs it.

Quote

The change was made to the Raven leg hitbox and resulted in the box not being drawn so tightly to the actual legs of the mech due to their small size. As for the Raven overall they are still small and fast lights which remain difficult to hit, though two ac20's to the face and you can be pretty sure you got one.

Cheers,
daemur

As of the last time I tested this, it is still the case that the Raven legs are much larger than the actual leg itself. The Raven needs help! Please!

Is there any chance we can see the wave 2 faction skins implemented on the wave 1 clan mechs in the future?

Quirks should be more general rather than being specific as they are now. Buffing a single weapon on a one chassis severely limits the number of practical builds, making it "mount this cannon or go home". So instead of like "Ballistic +10%, AC/5 +10%", how about "Ballistic +15%, AC/5 +5%"? So it will buff the underpowered chassis to certain level without forcing the players to put a specific weapon on it.

Could you please fix the quirks on the Protector to reflect the stock weapons. I really was disappointed that you turned the stock. Gaus PPC mech into a brawler. Fixing it would add diversity to the Orion. All mechs should have had stock load out quirks not quriks chosen to fit what people think of as the meta. Please remember when you quirk the clans that it should be stock weapons that you buff.

You should definitely try it out before it's nerfed. It's my top scoring mech right now. 115 matches and counting: 582 average damage per match, 3.55 KDR in group queue. I'm unable to match those numbers using a Stormcrow, Timberwolf nor Direwolf.

Is the Cammo pattern available to all mechs at the same time or is it limited to just a few at the same time.

For example I want to place the Clan Wolf pattern on all my mechs at the same time so they are all running the Clan Wolf patterns.Or will I be limited to just 4 mechs and the pattern will have to be swapped from mech to mech.

If we are limited to just 4 can we choose which ones we want? For example I want 2 Wolf, 1 Ghost Bear and 1 Smoke Jag.

CW phase 2 aside...(don't shoot me for this... :P), if i choose 4 different clan faction skins, i can change the default invasion skin on my clanmechs with whichever clan faction skin and whenever i like? Unlike unlock-1-paintjob-for-1-chassis system we have now?

oh my....please...make....it....true...

Oh, I'm hoping for this as well. When I do CW battles with ma Clan mechs, then I'll have them painted in CGB colors. But, for standard queue, I can't go past having twelve sets of colors and a variety of different patterns to choose from, not just the standard Polygon.

Besides, I named my Hellbringer Prime Rooster. Painting it in the Jade Falcon pattern would be fitting.

I'm also intending to do the same with the Resistance pack, if it works the same. Why'd I get that? My favourite mech of the era is in there - the Zeus.

Men, I bought the Dragon - 5N Champion only for the sake of the old Daka - Lord AC/2, now they are changed to UAC/5.

Funny thing is champion comes with a Gauss rifle, now I have to use UAC5.

I guess it is my right to ask a refund or?

Edit: WTF it can't even mount 2 UAC5s, definitive refund.

Special Note: Wave 2 faction skins will be place able on your special "Invasion" version of your Wave 2 mechs, however it will likely trail the Dec 16th patch by 1 or 2 patch cycles. On Dec 16th those faction skins will work with the 4 Wave 2 mechs as well as the Mad Dog. Further into the future the faction skins will be retrofitted to work with all Wave 1 mechs.

fantastic :D, will this also apply to the resistance pack and the faction content that is provided with those packs?

Overall, it looks great!

I am bummed by the quirk change to the Grid Iron though. :(

Been seeing some good use of the UAC5 on the GI

Grid Iron to Gauss Quirk?

Do not want...

Now I gotta delete my Grid Iron.. sigh.

No need to delete bro, they changed the quirk once, they may change it again. No need to just throw away the money you spent :)

Seems rather "light" on content (not counting CW OB).

Any new heroes we should expect as a surprise?

well we did get the dec 2 patch early so there's probably only one patch this month as there's no mention of anything coming out for a dec 30th patch. my theory figures it's because they'll be too busy fixing CW bugs/hotfixes to work on a new patch in those two weeks. then schedule goes back to normal in janurary

I respectfully diagree. Specific quirks may limit loadouts per variant somewhat, but they allow for much BETTER quirks, minimize edge case abuse, are easier to manage, and encourage more diversity CROSS variant.

Why are we quirking toward stock builds? Stock builds are generally very bad and the point of this game has become collecting equipment and building personalized mech variants. People's time and money is focused on builds, not just running the cheap stock variant. Quirks were explained as a way to improve substandard chassis and broaden the builds that we see on the field. Trying to appease the stock build/more crowd does not help this.

Shouldn't diversity be encouraged by balancing among weapons? Meta builds will cease to exist, only when there is not a single combo massively standing out over the other builds.

I think we both want the same thing, but through different ways.
