Buying the 6K isn't the problem alright. The Large Pulse Lasers are expensive enough but can't function without DHS, to get enough weight for a good size XL engine you'll need Endo and it's one of the few 55 tonners that can easily take Ferro as well (I'd rather have more engine speed than DHS).

Right now I am using the 7Ks XL 275. Its all I can afford and still drop three LPLs in it.

And honestly, 81mph is perfect for me. Anything faster and I cant seem to handle it as easily. It gets me where I need to go.

Trying to Wubwub on Single heatsinks is a PITA lol. I did just finish a match with 330 damage, so I count that not bad. IT was on a cold map, so that helped. I still need about 1m for DHS still... ugh...

It is fun though!

How may LPL's with those SHS, not 3 of them I hope (I'd think two already quite hot)?

I have my 6R set up with dual AC5's, 3SRM2's and the obligatory medium laser. XL 280 and ES/DHS it's autocannons can actually run dry on protracted engagements but its a good solid hitter, fast and decently agile too. Can't go far wrong with it and liking it even more now i've elited both of my Wolverines (other is 7k SRM boat).

The AC5 quirks make it pretty decent at suppressive fire too like my BJ-1DC which shares the same quirk but in a 10t lighter package which has presently 4 medium lasers for backup. But not quite as tough so needs to stay back a bit more.
