It's hilarious because it gives up the advantage the KGC has over the DWF. If you manage to maneuver up to it with those dual AC/20s, it's going to get mauled. If you try to get into a Gauss fight with it? Kiss your delicious crabbiness goodbye.

"Clanbuster" fits the every other variant more.

I'm aware what the KGC-001 is and what happened at Tukayyid.

I repeat, no King Crab in MWO will ever win a gauss fight with a Dire Wolf. Ever. UAC/5? AC/40? I'd say it has the advantage? Gauss? Noooooooot by a long shot. This isn't the lore.

Hmmm Clan Gauss is 3 tons lighter than the Inner Sphere version. same range, same heat, same damage... Looks pretty close to me.

3 tons = 3 tons of ammo for the same weight as just the straight up normal gauss of the IS. meaning it must sacrifice other weapons, ammo, armor, or engine to be the same weight.

Direwolf still out guns it in gauss and energy, but regular ballistics the king crab will have a steep advantage.

When I initially looked at the (unexpanded) picture of the 3rd crab (the one with the custom paint job), my first reaction was "My god. I can't believe that they put the Flying Spaghetti Monster on a mech."

Then I expanded it and saw that it was norn art. I can't decide if I'm disappointed or not.

He was chainfiring them for some reason (which doesn't even keep up with 2 cannons, let alone 6), then he engaged the exponential ghost heat a few times.


They are bad weapons, but not that bad. They are designed to fire all 6 at once, without the stagger. Like an AC10 every second. For three times the weight.

Yeah I keep looking for the Gargoyle sneak peek myself. I mean I am super excited about the KC but it is just a PUGGER for me since I am a Clanner. Now the Gargoyle on the other hand, that may make my drop deck if it is good enough.
