That's not the preorder (I) Invasion Variant. That good looking version of the Prime is not available until next year for MC and then C-bills.

I feel compelled to say, this version of the gargoyle looks great. But the (I) version looks like a hideous after thought that no one wanted!

I really want my 30% c-bill Gargoyle to look like the good version. (with the (I) shoulder pads)

One of the thing we liked about MWO was the fact they were able to take old design and recreate them in a new fashion while retaining the spirit of the mech.

It will be useable, not DOA, but its going to be very subpar compared to what already exists.

Yes, and I bet he has not noticed that the missing tonnage is basically what a LaserVOmit TBR uses for Heatsinks. Those are already hard wired. So basically you can build an energy boat with 100 more armor, twice the heat sinks AND larger lasers/more wubb/whatever floats your boat.

Today's patch ~10am PST. The redeeming items thing I believe is a bug.

TBR comes with 15 heatsinks, GAR comes with 16. (ONE WHOLE HS MORE)
TBR comes with 27.5 tons of podspace at 460 armour, GAR comes with 19.5 tons of podspace at 466 armour.
The only build the GAR can run is laservomit, which the TBR can also run

Oh, and you are still comparing it to a TBR.... Just because a fish cannot climb a tree like a squirrel doesn't mean the fish is useless. Gimme some time in the lab when it comes out. I'll give you a build and show you how to play it.

They gotta defend their 120 dollar package that so far has contained all of one worthwhile gundam.

I simply don't see how people are so dense..

Im comparing it because its the obvious comparison (only 5 tons difference in weight, same speed) on clan side

Its worse in literally every single way except having slightly more armour, which is massively offset by the Huge movement profile and larger frame

Any build you can come up with on the GAR can be replicated on the TBR with more heatsinks and Jumpjets at the same speed for 5 less tons.

It will still be useable, i never said it wouldn't be, but it will be sub par

I bought that package too, because $120 was cheaper than $80 + $55 and i wanted the King Crab and Hellbringer. I knew the Lynx, Ferret and Gargle would be rubbish, but i didnt want the resistance pack mechs anyway.

The next clan pack should be a winner (plus the assault will be the fail one so you can skip the top tier)
