Playing in matches with 6+ assaults on each side is zero fun..... Try releasing one mech a month perhaps and even um out a bit. seeing 4-5 100 tons mechs is pretty lame to say the least.. especially when the you add on a bunch of 70-75 toners too..

Wouldn't have mattered if it was only the king crab OR only the gargoyle. The new stuff always bumps its respective weight-class up to about 50%. Every time.
We're probably lucky that the hellbringer is still SOMEWHAT new and catches some of the "shiny new things"-effect.

Ye, 6+ Assaults each side?.. Lol.. I would choose always these kind of matches, if I had a choise (Anything is better for me, then the 3+ Lights on each side...)

But, back to topic... some reason .. ... PGI almost every time gives out a "double pack".. 2 Mechs in the same weight-class.. I really don't know why.. but, if you see the past few months.. Mosty 2 Mech came out in short time.. and mostly, with the same weightclass.. ??? (Shadowhawk/Stromcrow (Sales-challange), (Free) Victor/Warhawk, etc... )

What's up with 3+ lights on each side when the thing reports there's only 7% lights, anyway? I've noticed this for a while, whilst piloting my Adder. If there's a shortage, you'd think there would be /less/ lights on each team.

Those lights never had to wait in the queue, and got straight into a game.

The % listed are for people currently waiting.

Okay, but why then would they not dump four of those lights into other matches, which are waiting for lights? If there's so few of us, why are we all getting put in the same game? It's just rather odd, is all.

Heh, i had some matches where there was not a single light mech in the entire group.. One match, we had one cicada, everything else was 55+ we had 6 assaults..

I just have never seen a single cue hit the 80%+ the other 3 were 6-7%. Maybe this is an anomaly because it was so anticipated. But still, if they are going to release a couple new mechs, why not put them in different weight classes? that was really my only point here.

Like drop a clan medium and IS heavy.. ext.. I think it would just even out the cue a bit. Like when they dropped the new Cent and Timber near each other, the medium and heavy cue were heavy use, the assault and light where low waits.. Just a thought to help get some better matches is all.

I know things will even out, eventually, but this will keep happening unless they change it.. Though who knows, maybe they like this kinda data?

quite enjoy it myself in a 89kph hvy, 1000+ dmg many times over with all the slow fatties.... tho getting caught inside 500m of a KGC will ruin your match

I dual Gauss / dual LPL....staying outside of 500m will not save you. bwahahahahahahah.

Seriously though...The wait for anyone dropping in an Assault mech have been a little crazy, but damn I am loving the KGC's.

As a nearly permanent Light Mech pilot, I love the slow assault mechs everywhere (as long as I'm not directly in front of one of them that is). King Crab for dinner every night!

At least the teams are matched now per weight class. You should have been around when one team could have 3 or 4 assaults against 5 or 6 on the other team.

At least it's balanced now.

What's wrong with lrms?, everyone loves vast swarms of lrm boating mechs out to kill the slow moving assaults crabs that now flood the field each and every match.
I for one love how balanced they are, they certainly add to the gameplay and in no way detract from the fun by making everyone on one team sit behind rocks for 5-10mins.

If only it was mandatory to break the hands of every lrm boating player prior to building and launching a ******* lrm boat.

actually liking it and not at te same time.

medium and heavy queue is low which is nice so I can work on stuff.

sucks heavily because there is little to no variety in mech class. seeing 5 or 6 assualts on and 1 light is pretty bad. rounds aren't even that much fun when its so lop sided to one type of class. seeing 4 crabs and a dire wolf on your team just seems so meh.

It's the peoples fault, dont try to blame pgi. They have no control of what we choose to run in any given combat scenario.
