People even now keep saying that Clan are over powered,
so i have a solution to How over powered Clan Seem,

Advance the Time Line to 3055,
-Give IS their Extended Range Medium Lasers(Experimental 3055),
-Give IS their Light Engines(Federated Commonwealth-Experimental 3053),
that should make InterShpere Pilots Happy,
-Give Clan Their Quirks, and more Variants,

to put things into Perspective
IS may seem Weaker now, but with IS-Light Engines and IS-ER-ML,
IS will greatly Surpass Clans, if Clan Nerfing continues, when they do come out,
Clan will have a Hard time holding their Own Against the InterShpere,

Now i dont believe Clan is Over-Powered,
i due feel there is a animosity towards Clan here on the Forums,
so i believe adding these will give IS Pilots what they want,
Clan-Like XL's, and Clan-Like ER-ML's,

For Those Who Dont Know(IS-LFE)
Light Fusion Engines work as Clan XL's,
Weighing 75% of a normal IS-STD Engine,
but also not dieing on Single-side-torso destruction,

For Those Who Dont Know(IS-ER-ML)
work as normal IS-Medium-lasers with more range,
damage 5, Range 360, Max-Range 720,

InterSphere Pilots Demand your ER-ML and LFE,
Clan Pilots Demand your Full Quirk Pass,
Together we can Bridge the gap,

Thoughts Comments Concerns,
Thanks Now Discuss,

Edit- Spelling
Edit2- Example,
Edit3- I Dont Believe,
Edit4- rewording,

Point Made, But some IS Pilots will Complain until they Get the Same Benefits of the Clans,
Adding the IS-Light-Engines and the IS-ER-ML i feel will stop allot of the complaints,

Unfortunately its true. It has been a continual whine fest for a while now and its gotten old. Clans are in no way OP, but whatever.

Good idea man, I agree 100%

IS XL in-game are ~66% of the mass of the STD, whereas the TT XL is 50%. A 75% weight L would render XL utterly useless outside of IS Light mechs, and a higher weight L, such as 85%, would render the potential gains nearly useless.

Players wont be happy until thier IS mechs get all the same benefits as Clans with all the same perks as the IS customization. Then, they still want the IS Quirk pass with IS single shot ACs alongside the IS PPCs and finally 7crit FF/Endo.

Clans dont need more nerfs...

IS don't need more buffs...

The reason for the engine tonnage differences in MWO is because PGI added Gyro tonnage and Cockpit tonnage into the engine weights.

Example, using the most versatile engine in the game (300 rated):
MWO STD300: 25 tons (19 ton engine, 3 ton cockpit, 3 ton gyro)
MWO XL300: 15.5 tons (9.5 ton engine, 3 ton cockpit, 3 ton gyro)
MWO LFE300: 20.5 tons (14.5 ton engine, 3 ton cockpit, 3 ton gyro)

It sits almost in the middle for tonnage.

I imagine that STD engines would become mostly obsolete overnight, because being able to survive one side torso loss is the best of both worlds between being a walking CT stick (STD engine) and dying from a side loss (IS XL). XL engines would still have their uses on lights, mediums, and some heavies though, and maybe Victors too.

IF the LFE motor lost a torso it should come with a % loss to acceleration/top speed to counter its benefits.

That way all the motors are still viable in their own way

LFE would probably have the same penalty as the Clan XL (which is fairly small), since both engine types have the same critical slot sizes.

ive been saying since first few weeks of clans that they need to introduce the light fusion engines.

would give IS heavies and mediums an extra 5-10 tons to play with, without losing survivability.
at this point with the quirk pass i think anything more than that will tip balance into range of IS being borderline OP.

Please do put LFEs in so I can stop hearing about clan easymode all day. Tweak clan gauss a little bit too and we should be golden.

we know LFE and ER-ML will come to the InterSphere Eventually,
i would rather they came sooner as to stop the "Clan is OP" talk,

Your solution is to just put in more power creep.

I'm just going to say no because power creep is stupid.

True dat.

I dont want all the IS perks. I am always for keeping the 2 factions unique in their own way. Inferior in some, superior in others. There can be balance and not have everything be 100% identical.

I would love a Clan Quirk pass, no doubt though.

Clans are totally not OP and anyone who thinks they are is just a bad player. We'll see proof of this when CW launches and all the top competitive teams are playing IS.

You can totally make an argument for the three top Clan mechs "Holy Trinity" (TBR, SCR, DWF) being too good, but to generalize that the Clans as a whole are overpowered makes you look like a numbnut.

stop talking of clans and IS, and finally realise that the entire balance in this game is a chassis related thing.

If by chassis you meant tech, then I totally agree with you :) My kingdom for a stash of IS mountable CERMLs
