go to the "faction" tab in game and that is how you drop. If you just hit play you go to the pug world.

I think something is broken. I hit the pop-up for Verthandi, and have been waiting in the lobby for 15 minutes. This is my second time. It worked great earlier today. But now, nothing.

EVERYBODY hits the pop up when it appears. Sometimes you make the cut by a millisecond, sometimes not. Just wait a few minutes and pop out and try for the next pop up.

I got four matches with very little effort that way.

My experience was very similar to yours. A solid effort in a Win will net you rewards consistently on this level.

Had my first match 2 minutes ago, it took 1 minute to fill the lobby
Unfortunately, its hard to play at 17fps and under, plus, I really hope the major of the "competitive" community aren't the kind of Aholes who blame the team after they are dead...

It looks really promising, fun even in slow motion, lol. but yes, we need voip or just join a team, for solo players will be hard.

it'd be nice to be able to play with the drop deck from the mechlab / home screen rather than having to select a planet in faction warfare to bring it up...

I haven't been able to get into a match to save my life.

Don't get me wrong, everything looks great and I don't have complaints about the functionality...but for the love of pete, can I *PLEASE* get in a match?

I mean, I have been able to start up, get the map loading screen and then I get booted back into MechLab. What the heck?!? I sincerly hope that these issues will be resolved soon.

Wait for the little pop-up in the lower right hand corner that says somewhere needs defenders/attackers and click join now. You will get in match quickly.

I get that but it seems some are having no issues getting into 12 mans in CW, so why are we having such a hard time getting in the same drops even selecting the same attack/defend planet? They really need a way to pull a group into a single CW instance.

Even doing that is not producing a game instantly. Edit: or even after 10 minutes.

Seems to be getting better as the night goes on. So far as finding / getting into matches, that is.

Almost every match I did get into, I CTD'd on loading into the match but was able to rejoin.

There's no Elo or group/solo queue in CW, as they've said from the beginning. You will face groups, so you join in as a PUG knowing this.

Well, consider that this JUST dropped, many people don't know about it and many more haven't patched yet. Give it a couple days to really get rolling.

Did 1 defense match so far for Kurita in the Davion Border - wait time was a few minutes - no attacker apeared and the match was like a CW Testing Ground match - easy win.

just did my first one, and.....that was a ******* blast !!!!!.....glad I read this to stick it out in the queue waited a while and it filled up. good money and good exp for all the mech. once the bugs are gone, this is gonna be a good time for all

Well, the wait times are not good, but it's beta. I've burned 30 mins waiting in chunks of 5 or 10 mins after clicking popups, to no avail. But this can't be the way it works long term ... it's Beta...
