  • Sorry, no screenshot. But it's a small shallow pit in the square crystal things.

Got stuck on Free Worlds Colosseum. I crested a hill and got stuck on a crystal/rock in grid C6. Attempts to move forwards/backwards/turn didn't seems to do anything. After about a minute the game just kinda spat me out of the offending tile. F9 POS: 2709.3, 2713.4, 449.0 .

Inescapable pit in Free World's Colosseum, in the bismuth formation on the NW corner of F6.
I powered down while using OTS view and just spectated the match.

I'm seeing 1 mech stuck in the E4 crystal hole at least every other match.
I believe there's another in F3 but not yet fallen into that one.

The brand new map, the purple colosseum, all those polygon square pieces of Poop cause super glitchy stuck scenarios. Regression test these maps please this is just poor coding.

D3 in the new Free Worlds Colloseum has a crystal formation that has zero collision on top so anything that falls on it ends up stuck inside and an easy kill.

I'm not voting this map anymore this is actually trash.

I also got stuck in the same pit on the new map Bear Claw II. It's just a hole in the ground you walk over and can't get out of. Position 3845.3 4263.1 189.8. Conquest. I was in a Hellspawn if that matters. I saw a Supernova stuck in there too. Edit: same problem again at 3842.1 4247.8 191.4. might be the same hole, not sure.

Bearclaw 2, Grid square D4, in a catapult-1A with jump jets, stuck between building geometry and the wall in gridspace D4.
Landing in this niche out of jump jet fuel caused the mech to get stuck (repeated in a practice session). The mech is not grounded, and will not recharge JJ fuel. Rotations of the legs and/or torso do not allow me to break free.

(The forum software, seems to reject every post I try to embed a picture in ['post_too_short]...even though the post contained the comments above, and simply removing the picture causes the post sto suddenly not be too short...)
To describe the area more explicitly since the forum doesn't like my screenshot, the building is near the corner of D4, there is a building embedded in the ice wall with an extra section on top with horizontal protrusions going across the roof and back down the side of the protrusion towards the ice wall. The mech seems to be able to get stuck between the wall and the extra section, with a horizontal protrusion keeping the mech from falling or being considered as 'grounded' to recharge JJ fuel.

The bigger issue isn't getting fully stuck in an area...that does suck. The real problem is that NEARLY EVERY DAMN WALL IN THE GAME IS MADE OF SOME KIND OF FAST ACTING EPOXY. Jump near a wall? LOL GET STUCK FOR 20 SECONDS WHILE THE ENEMY PEELS YOU APART.

Is there ANY way at all...ANY way to make the walls in this game NOT adhesive?!?! PLEASE?!?! I have been playing MWO since damn near the beginning and I am SOOOOOO tired of getting stuck in a wall and pinned there for who knows how long. Either the bad guys tear me to pieces or...and this is so much fun...the game thinks I'm falling and I take leg damage even though I'm barely a meter off the ground.

Serously...nothing can be done about this?!

*Edit*. Not quite the same subject, but can we do something about those moments when you jump on top of a structure and for some reason your mech LAUNCHES itself farther upward, nice and slowly so your enemy can wreck you while you're floating
