I'm not sure if I'm the only one being affected by this, but ever since after the recent patch, my hit detection isn't working as it did before. Previously I was able to hit using lasers while strafing with no problems, but after the patch, even when hitting dead center while moving, it doesn't even seem to hit. I just want to know if I'm the only one experiencing the problems now.

Nope you are not the one. Last game in CW, shooting a ADDER near to me in torso, with 2 small lasers, no hit.

Im having the same issues. When an enemy is moving, and I hit him dead center with lasers, the crosshair doesnt turn red and im not doing any damage.

Yep, also having this since last patch. Really ******** me as damage numbers have dropped and has caused death for me. Upside is ive had the bug work in my favor at times.

Same issue here, most of my CW drops were good however my last drop was going well until I got to my second mech CTF-4k and could not hit anything standing still or running. Zero damage, zero reticle turning red and no hits. Looks like we have a few bugs to work out but I am grateful for CW.

I have the same problem. I once shot a gauss rifle on a mech and I saw the explosion of the shell hitting the mech. However, no damage nor hit-markers.

Same here. Seems worse on the faster mechs. I suspect it may be related to the lag issues that are occuring as well.

For me the problem is bigger if the targeting Mech is faster, maybe a kind of lag, but the ping of my and enemy Mechs was O.K.

I also have this issue. Maybe a netcode latency issue? I usually have a high ping of about 150ms.

I noticed this drastically in CW, I would have to aim ahead of the mech to get any sort of red crosshair hit reg on a light. This was towards end of match when server seems to cause a lot of slowdown and suffer from spiking latency.

Anyone else notice a lot of rubber banding at the end of CW matches?

Something is wrong with hit detection on SRMs. Two salvos of 4 SRM6 + Artemis into the CT of a Thunderbolt and the armor turns orange. Prepatch, it would've been dead or critical damage.[/color]

Signed. Hit reg was in a bad state before community warfare came out but now it's EVEN WORSE than before.

See my previous thread on this:

http://mwomercs.com/...eg-still-sucks/

Seems like they haven't bought any more servers and have to keep throwing ice on the ones they do have to keep them working because of how overloaded they must be.

Still no acknowledgement from PGI on the issue either.

Prove me wrong PGI, Prove. Me. Wrong.

well, at least now I know that I'm not the only one. It might be that Host-State-Rewind is affecting most of us, but this patch feels like it's not 'there'. I hope that this is brought to PGI's attention. It was working so good for like 6 months, even with my abysmal ping (300++)

I've noticed the same issue. It also has to do with the game running terrible since the patch. I used to run 50-70 FPS without a problem. Now I'm lucky If i stay above 20 FPS. It's incredibly hard to play right now.

This issue isn't just in CW, it is also present in standard pug games.

It has been around for a while in all types of games. In CW it's worse because of everything that the server needs to handle. Firestarters and spiders do know how to capitalize on this.
