I never played with the Clan stuff, so my favs were the Warhammer and the Panther.

Slightly off topic, can someone point me to some dev commentary on how they plan to choose what is in and what isn't? I just assumed all the classic mechs would be in, but apparently not if people are talking about my 'Hammer not being here, and also Marauders etc.

Seriously, everyone probably has their favorites, but I'd like to eventually see just about every mech ever created as an option in the purchaseable player store. Being a mech addict I used to pick a mech of a certain weight and then thumb through the TROs to try cloning different weapons loadouts and equipment setups. I was surprised at how effective and fun widely varying designs in the same weight class could be. So I hope they eventually implement as many as possible. You can truly never have enough.

yes there should be ton's of mech's at least all the 3025 mech..... if they are going by a timeline?

You know, two 'mechs I would like to see put in this game are the Cataphract, and later, the Caesar.
I don't think either have ever popped up in a Battletech game. The Cataphract would make a great addition to the Capellan/Davion arsenal as the game is first starting up, and the later Caesar would do well to appear around the time of the clan invasion.

Personally, I've always thought the original 3050 artwork for the designs looked pretty good. I've never had any complaints about either. I really hope that they'll manage to squeak their way in.
