Yes, you are right, yesterday while attacking the planet that SJs are attacking now (I forget the name) mostly had Liao groups defending it. Good matches, lost two of them I think and a very close match defending from a [Dude] 7-man, excellent game. Things will certainly become more interesting when all factions are able to attack a Clan held planet directly.

They might be fun, but they would be unfair to the clans.

Also, if the clans get far enough that all IS factions can hit their borders directly, the clans already won.

Not necessarily. It could be that Kurita just lost and we're fighting them around Luthien

Well the post I was replying to, specifically mentioned "all IS factions can attack a clan held planet directly. That means that all IS factions would need to have direct borders with the clans. For that to happen, they need to have gon far enough south to reach Liao, and St.Ives, which means they would've already taken Terra.

True. However, I don't feel well about the word "won". "Won what?" Right now a faction owning one single planet has nothing to be jealous over a faction owning a hundred planets - apart from bragging rights that is, but I personally find that a bit pointless.

Anyway, I was thinking more in the lines of PGI giving ie Davion a planet to attack in SJ territory justifying it by.. say, Kurita allowing Davion to jump through their space or something. A Davion or Marik held pocket amidst the Clans might actually really spice things up.

As far as "unfair" goes... it might not be that unfair. I mean is Liao's situation fighting on three fronts atm "unfair" ? Giving the opportunity to all factions to attack each other faction might create dynamic borders that will make people more eager to fight it out.

Well, the big one is Terra. Kinda the special snowflake of planets. I want everyone to unite in denying the clans Terra.

As for unfair, yup Liao is in an unfair position right now, for the same reason the clans would be (though not to as bad a degree). Since there will still be a big population difference.

Liao only has 2 fronts (Marik, and Davion), with an alliance with Marik secured, they only have to worry about Davion, for the record.

Good work... but did you actually look at it before you said they havent??? If you want to talk about Percentage of Realm lost than sure, Liao than Rasalhague have lost more. But Number of Worlds goes to Steiner, which is what I said. When Falcon, Wolf, Rasalhauge, Marik, & Davion have taken worlds from us... we are about breaking even with Kurita. Why are you even arguing this fact with me??? Thats not even counting the 3 Steiner worlds in Rasalhague space they took which isnt shown with your nifty gif

Uhhh it is shown. Take another look at the day 1 map, and you can clearly see the Steiner planets being taken. Also, Davion only took 1 planet from Steiner. On Day 1. That's it.

If you look at the one only showing Day 1 & 21, you see Steiner lost ground to Falcon, Rasalhague & Marik plus one world to Davion.
Steiner did take from Kurita though.

Thanks for that, but I was referring to the site that pulls off the API and you can break it down by faction or unit.

We don't attack, always defend. We'll never get anywhere this way. I've set in the attack queue and maybe 2 or 3 will join me, and then leave. It's pathetic.
