Too bad Luthien is off limits for invasion. It'll be interesting to see if the Draconis Combine gets the same "you can't invade any of their world's" Game protection from the Smoke Jags as they got from the Ghost Bears.

Did Clan Wolf become the clan version of Liao?

It's so weird, looking at Marik you wouldn't think we were actually up planets from Day One.

really thought there'd be more wolf supporters

They apparently had a bunch of very unpleasant RP'ers who chased all the good players away.

You forgot the part about how those same people made other clans/mercs dislike them and required some whiny puppies to be put in their place ;)

I dunno. Its seems to be lore to me. Wolves were always the whiney Wardens. It's just in the books they had plot armor.

I decided to quit the front news. I can understand your thoughts, it's nearly impossible to make the news without any lack of information. Thanks a lot for your work until now, your time lapse is epic.

I suggest you just restate the number to the cease fire number and not the day. You fortunately skipped adding text to the images :-)

Honestly, you could still do the map updates once per day. I don't really see the full value of getting every 8-hour map update when all I want to see is the progress per day. If the other two timezones want to see those updates then someone from that timezone can step up. If there were 3 or more of you guys working & compiling your screenshots together, it would probably be more manageable.

Another thing to consider is that after several months this gif would get pretty large with daily updates added on, never mind tri-daily updates... after a certain length of time it might be more feasible to start a new gif say, every 60 days, if you want to continue the daily updates. Perhaps shifting to weekly updates is worth considering too. Bottom line, you guys don't have to spend your free time doing this, and IMHO this is something that PGI could easily automate and manage in another website tab (SMB - Star Map Bulletin, or something along those lines...). You guys did a great job until now and I really like this post, but you guys ain't getting paid for it.

In short, I think it may be worthwhile to request these map updates as a website feature supported by PGI. Probably not too much work for them. They already have the work you've done (they probably have map changes data archived as well), and a little programming and tweaking could ensure that the updates happen automatically so nobody has to screenshot it 3 times per day. This task is best left to program code! :P

I agree with above. Just do a once a day update. Just do it same time everyday.

Mildly related to the map - has anyone noticed that you can see the Halo Stars on the map? They aren't overtly marked, but if you zoom in and scroll up, they're hiding there. So if/when we actually have numbers and start kicking them back, we can shove out to Strana Mechty. :D

Yes. Well I'll call em periphery stars. Scroll in on your in-game map. Try moving North from the edges of Clan Ghost Bear/ Wolf Territory. There should be some stars, around 5 shaping a circle. Then move further up the map and you will see a large clusters of stars. Thats the REAL clan Territory as far as I know.
