They are pushing back on Velhas too, though. 14 more Davions = WELP

More or less yeah. *something* has to happen to bring either a massive influx of players to the game, or to redistribute population in cw. Disabling the effects of ghost drops on the CW map would be a great fix for now and probably encourage people to sort out into whatever faction they like most rather than everyone piling into the winner of the month.

Nah... The Davion are just being {Richard Cameron}... Confidence grows in numbers. ;)

Anyway... waiting for a few things to happen:
1. A better way to 'call to arms' people in your faction. They should replace 'Officer Chat' with something more useful like 'Faction Chat' instead.
2. Faction drop instead of unit drop. This one was flawed by not being allowed from the start.
3. The clock not be catered to NA players.
This will lead to round the clock warfare. Based from what I seen, I suspect the majority of active Davions are mostly on NA.
If on a rotating clock. It would be interesting to see how well they would protect themselves round the clock from attacks.
A significant amount of Liao are asian, russian some europeans. It would be interesting to see.
Now imagine if Kurita is also facing the same issue... Not sure about Mariks...

Time will tell... Only time will tell...

They really should have the clock not synch with a 24 hour day. Like a 21h attack window or something. Let everyone have a shot at the last couple hours before CF

Ceasefire up in under 20 minutes now, though some people are still derping away in queue without realizing it.

And yes, it really should rotate through to be fair. Otherwise, one timezone gains an innate and constant advantage.

People were derping for last 1:30 hour attacking Davion planet with 2 captured grids and 2 times more defenders. It's pretty obvious that you won't capture it in the last few matches when you were losing them since earlier against the same group of defenders.

In the meantime, when our pilots were hitting their heads against a wall, our planet Warlock was being ripped from our territory by ghost drops. First things first. I understand that people might prefer attacking planets, when your alternative is a winning battle and get nothing out of it [Seriously, nothing. You win one game to don't let the situation gone even worse and still lose 2 other battles to Davions fighting against empty base, there are much more davions so you can't counterattack to recapture lost matches.] Succesfull defending should count as recapture aswell, to allow defending pilots feel their effort is not senseless. Right now Davions just throw as many people they have to attack and have guaranteed victory, you dont need to play well, you just need to overwhelm stuff with your zerg rush, there will be no consequences from failed attacks.

Liaos are refusing to adapt to current CW mechanics. Outcome? Losing 16 planets since Community Warfare started. But Glory to Celestial Wisdom, our pilots was able to conquer 1 planet in a time of 3 weeks, there is still hope!

What is your plan, Kruczek? Firstly we only defended our planets, and lose them. But then, we were able to capture Ikast and some more planets. We can do nothing because of FedRats zergrush.

Bluntly we have a lot of fights on a lot of fronts. We prioritize defense; we have to or we'd lose 3 worlds every round.

We have the numbers to push you on defense. Offense forces us to prioritize. Last time you pushed really, really hard we lost a world to Kurita. We very, very nearly lost one to Liao.

We're taking worlds from you anyway. 1 per turn. Attacking changes our priorities. Don't just let that slide.

You can often see 50 to 60+ defending Kurita or Rasalhague planets but almost never on Liao planets. PUGs for whatever reason can/will flock to those planets. Is it because Clan attacks can be defended by any faction?

Yep. I believe planets attacked by Clan can be defended by any IS.
I suspect there might be faction priority though. Eg. Kurita planet should be defended by Kurita. Not enough people based on certain amont time ? Put in fillers from other faction. Also priority to Groups especially big groups.

Liao planets bordering Davion and Marik can only be attacked/defended by Liao.

That is indeed the case. Clan attacks can be defended by any IS faction- indeed, I was seeing Kurita worlds defended by...a Davion majority. Heck, a few defenses of said Kurita world were 1 Kuritan, a mix of Steiner/Davion in the majority, plus one Liao (me).

They generally did horribly, but then I think Davion has the wonderful tactic of encouraging their dregs to go play in defenses against Clan attacks on non-Davion/Steiner worlds, thereby letting the scrubs take the fall and the planet with them. I was usually top 3, if not the top of the scoring heap.

That's a very pragmatic method of training new recruits.

Win, your recruits make big money. Lose, your enemy's planet collapses instead.

Meh, the Clan worlds aren't training grounds... they're vacation spots. Let's face it... Liao, Marik and Kurita all put up better fights then Wolf and Jade Falcon, on average. Of course there's always the off chance of hitting a comp team and getting facerolled, but it's not all THAT likely.

So when the stress of fighting you guys gets too much, I go kick some puppies up north.

Really, Ikast was the only planet we were able to capture since Community Warfare started, I've checked galaxy maps from every day of CW.
Generally speaking we need more coordination, Liaos fight separate at battlefield while to help our faction, cooperation between units is needed. Being a good solo pilot and rocking enemies in a match doesn't change much, when you don't have a general strategy and a smooth flow of information from one person to another. But I feel that I shouldn't touch this subject in this topic, it will be more or less digression from the main point. Give me some time do more research, I will start a separate topic for this discussion later on, after I gather and summarize more information.

Maybe there is room for a thread to coordinate threads about coordination? That way, we can be more coordinated.
