Looks like another 3-tiered challenge, with Tier 1 being 5 points, Tier 2 being 10 points and Tier 3 being 20 points. Hopefully, they will use a formula similar to what they had for the Victor challenge, requiring 1 win, 1 kill, 1 assist and survival. The only problem with that challenge was the lack of tiers, in my opinon. There was just 1 point or 20 points.

Then again, 20 wins in CW takes a lot more time than normal matches, given the current queue. Maybe they've changed the formula completely.

Too bad I can't play much this weekend. Would love to participate, if they do another survival + win based challenge.

20 CW wins would be a tall order, I don't expect it will be 1 match + conditions met = 1 point if it's for the Invasion mode.

Even if it was 20 matches in CW it'd take 15-20 hours or so, considering how much the wait times are now. And to spend 1 an entire day playing CW for a weekend is a bit too much.... But we'll see what's the challenge about.

Hell to the no. And thankfully, they're not.

I guess its just participate in 30CW matches, to make the people join the beta and help testing and gathering info from the beta.

or maybe its gathering 30 kills.

80 match score in CW means average 20 per mech. This is clearly not a challenge, but a way of advertising CW.

So, this is to give us money for modules yet the top price doesn't pay for the module you actually want to buy. Unless the tiers stack it doesn't really make sense. Oh well, free cbills

"Invasion Mode"

Does that mean defenders don't get squat?

Never seen a PVP community so opposed to skill based challenges.

Oh well. Just handing out money and GXP is fine too.

Yeah guess you are still in the PUG Que Phule? Dropped in a 9 man Law drop yesterday... Good to see disciplined fire control again! :) ^_^

Challenges are supposed to be well... Challenging. SO if they are easy PGI is doing it wrong. ^_^

Critics of the Victor challenge claimed skill had nothing to do with it, that it was entirely random whether you would get it done in 20 or 200 matches. Sadly, convincing them otherwise has not been a fruitful endeavour.

I am a critic of the Victor challenge, have been vocal during the weekend, and I never said it had nothing to do with skill. And it wasn't the most common complaint either. What people were complaining about was the way the challenge promoted really dumb play.
