Marik has been getting pounded by the combined Davion, and Steiner push on us, and we have not seen any attacks against the Davions form Liao, I don't understand what happened? We honestly don't have the numbers to hold up against both factions best mercs alone. Steiner is all but ignoring there clan border to focus on IS factions, and FRR, and DC are unable to put up defenses.

Well, if Davion focuses on Liao there and ignores us, I suppose we should pick up the slack too.

Please start defending your planets again. At this rate Davion will just absorb your nation. Thus making them larger, if they take over your nation they would be 3 times larger then house Marik. Yesterday we focused only on Davion so you could have had a chance to defend Capella.

I don't want to say this for it sickens me, for we have great respect for you guys and really enjoy our shared border, and peace, and our combined effect against the Davions. For we had them against the wall. The sad truth is I would rather see those worlds under Marik control, then under Davion control. At the way things are going the best I can see to happen is if Marik surrounds your nation to stop the Davions from fully absorbing your nation. If that happened you would have a cushion between Liao and Davion space, that cushion being Marik.

I don't like to think on this and even saying this grieves me, At the same time I don't want to see your nation destroyed, you are putting us Mariks in a tough position. Please, I beg you don't make us contemplate this anymore.

At this point, we'll have to see if having the 8-8-8 helps pick up the slack. People figured out the math early on that if you weren't in on the end of a window, CW was useless.

In this thread I agree with Thomas Mariks idea. The main issue I bring up against this is the planet groupings. I for one am willing to find these planet groupings.

I'm not sure there are groupings. My idea was just to let the corridors develop over time. Having said that I'm sitting here looking at Smoke Jaguars make a line. I'm wondering if the Algorithm looks for planets you have lost and then tries to direct a factions progress so it looks more like the 3058 map. That Jag line is very similar to what they end up with after Tukkayid. Where there is no 3058 data it may just be random.

remember I said the only faction I did not see with planet groupings was the Steiner's, for instance the planets we can hit on Steiners often change.

Guys I suggest on Fridays you have a ceasefire with Davion. The reason is Marik's will because both houses agreed that starting on January 30th we will have what is called Clan chowder Friday's. Where both factions will join together to crush one clan or another. I am letting you guys know this in hopes you would join us. It is what the three northern factions want, so we could give it to them once a week. Besides som of those clanners could use a ego reducer.

I would run this by some of the unit leaders. To me, the idea has some merit. With CW in its infancy, community building things like this are a good idea.
