You should probably learn how the game works.
One Steiner planet per day is not even close to enough.

So help other clans defend.

Remember Butte Hold?

Remember Outpost?

I'm pretty sure you do. We clan wolves had the greatest intention to get to Terra, but unfortunately Bears and Jade grabbed our land while we were expanding into IS land. Now we have to defend ourselves.

Personatly, I did not participated in the battles. But I am both for and against theses kinds of actions. Maybe in the futur LORDS and others Unit will think twice before making people angry.
And with some luck, that sort of thing won't happen again. But it need works from BOTH side.

hum you missing a fact - why shouldn't Steiner unit uses the same "tactics" -
actualy any "player" with a border to the JF - has two options:
- he can play CW and face the best of the best - with no chance of fighting them.
- or he don't play CW

Your choice, I am not here to tell how a Spheroid should fight. I am here to conquer it. :P
If Steiners want to use the sames tactics, it's there choice and not our problem.

well i think its a "problem" of all players of CW. Or at least of all "better" comp teams - that a less comp team uses this "tactics" to make the victory - less fun for them.

Its important that PGI does two things:
  • find a acceptable rule set - that makes it impossible to burn the clock in extremis
  • find a accepatbel rule set - that less "gifted" teams still could play a "valid" part in CW

So it wouldn't be a problem for Steiner or FRR to use the same tactic against you.

No it would not. Its a valid tactic. If they choose to do it, then we find a counter tactic.

Dragging out a game is bad tactics? Do you know how the Russians defeated Napoleon and {Godwin's Law}?

*Your kidding me right? You cannot say the name of the German WWII leader? WTF!*

well, base timer 20 minutes and +5 minutes per destroyed gate. so to "burn" time hteys would at leats need to destroy the gates at some point.

Anyone who gets upset over a tactic used against them when they have used it is an idiot. It would be like if Lords use the rush move against defenders, but get pisssed off when Steiner does it against them.

Not at all. In fact, it would create more challenge. It will be a d!ck tactic. But a valid one, just like your spawncamping or the zergrush.

I am Russian and i know Russian history. There is nothing familiar with your "tactics".
This is abusement. This is not a game method.

To be entirely fair, abusing the nuances of game mechanics is behind the very definition of "meta."

And yet even so, with all that has happened, we hold the planet closest to Terra right now.

So the Russians did not trade land for time as they slowley drew Napolean across Europe? Then they left Napoleon in Moscow during the winter with no food or supplies? Then harrased him as he left Russia to return to France. They drug out the war and made Napoleon fight on their terms and not his.

They then repeated this same tactic against the Germans, they traded land for time while the Germans froze to death in the winter.

So rushing was ok by many, but this now is not? wow evberythign seems fine as long as it caters a specific person, yet when its the other way around its not.

defending means defending, hold the ground for 30 minutes = win.

Now as everyone said rushing si cheap, they complained about people should set up counter tactics which by mechnaic was impossible.

yet with countertactics, of having JJ's gates can be climbed over (and on sulfur every mech even can at alpha). So you could still go and hunt the hiding attackers.

Vault ptobably needs an adjustment to make goign over the gates possible too.
