And we took back some in the same time. Clan Wolf and Clan Ghot Bear will deal between eachother after the question of the Inner Sphere is solved.

I didn't actually pissed off anyone. You'd better get your facts straight.

And honestly, if you're feeling so harsh with me ( or us?) come and drop against us and enjoy the spectator view.

Konnichi-wa (bows)

Interesting that all are trying to keep things going as RP stunt but it is also good that variations/different tactics are being used. With that said, as this is the first run of CW there are bound to be different scenarios that the internal testers/etc did not really think it through.

For most here, this is not your first rodeo at new content, regardless of the game. And with the current PGI group they appear to be ready to respond quickly to make changes as need be. Hopefully though any changes made are done after looking at the pro/con of any changes and how it is rewarded, etc.

As the dev team are primarily Canadians, tis less likely they have played war or Cowboys and Indians :) but they will come around.

My unit is mane of people, like yours. You see, i've been accused of cheating and called a ************ and stuff like that many times, but never retaliated against the unit itself. You don't like to get insulted? Take a screenshot and set it to the support team.

Are you getting mad because you don't like to lose? Not my problem.

I repeat. If you are feeling offended start sending in reports. But quit the crying, because you're doing the same thing that pissed you off, kinda incoherent, huh? :)

This tactic sounds legit to me, if the game allows you, use it. That's what all the L33T players have been saying this whole time.....and now they cry about it?

My 2 cents on the matter:

As many of the more competitive players have stated before. You do whatever it takes to win.

I've seen this as a justification of why constantly zerg rushing as fast as possible to gobble up as many tickets is possible is a "perfectly valid start" in order to spam wins and conquer territory at an accelerated rate. Same as pumping and bunny hoping Firestarters and Timberwolves to purposely break their hit boxes

I've got nothing against Lords, or what they are doing to gain territory as they see fit and play the game in a way that will win them matches. but I also don't see anything wrong with what these teams are doing to COUNTER your strat. As they are doing exactly what those in the comp scene have been saying for awhile now.

Winning is fun, and they are doing everything permitted within the rules of the game to Win. Only they are aiming to Win the War, and not the Battles.

As many have mentioned, Its beta, so it might be addressed, it might not be. But you can't fault a community of players for banding together and playing the game in a way that will allow them to win, when that is the exact justification the comp players use to defend zerg rushing, bunny hopping to break hit boxes, running with nothing but metta mechs and everything else that others seem to get peeved at.

Just like you do whatever you can to win, they are doing exactly the same. Only aiming to win the war, and not the battles. And just as I have no issues with how you guys go about winning your games by whatever is necessary, I don't fault these players that have band together to win the war against you guys by whatever means necessary.

Nope, griefing a match where you hide yourself just for the sake of trolling it's not legit. Enter your base, take down everything on sight and then killing the generator is.

And if you ever saw us doing something like that, that's a pure lie. We tend to fight till the end, not to hide and shut down on a unclimbable hill just to troll. That's kinda different imho.

Making us lose time so the other groups can exploit the server queue and get and autowin.

And i see people complaining about meta builds. This is not the same thing, one is working as intended, the other is not.

Just win baby...that is the Lords motto. Handle your business son, stop playing like scrubs and losing your planets.

Lords have been cut, blood is in the water, and the community of sharks...they be a circling.

So it's ok if you are using meta tactics and thing permitted by the games to beat us. But it is not okay if we use our own tactic?
Sound like your mad to me.

There is only one difference.People who's not using "meta" builds can use them by themselves. And CJF just doesn't have enough players, and not a single person who playing for CJF can do something with this.

As long as Lords banner is hung in the CJF hall, I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for anyone from the community of players they pissed off to come to your aid.

Don't speak for me please. I'm perfectly capable of doing that myself.

I was not talking to him or any one in-particular. I've got no issues with the Lords, or anyone else for that matter, so please don't make it sound like I do.

As to the response, Yeah, if they where basically letting the clock run out without even attacking the base, then yeah, that's griefing. If they where just running the clock before a final attack though, that's not. There is nothing in the rules that say they have to hurry up and throw themselves into the meat grinder "or else." It would probably be a case by case basis that greifing would have to be judged on.

But if rushing the base to pull tickets in 2-5 minutes is permitted, then I don't see anything wrong with holding the line to wind the clock down either to hold that at bay.

As to Wootzor's resonse. I've never called you or anyone else out on tactics. I am not participating in that theater so I have no idea what is going on over there and I would never claim to.

But you better believe that I have seen you guys pumping those Jump Jets to break those hitboxes on T-wolves and Firestarters. I've got nothing against you guys or the meta mechs you bring. But just like you guys pump JJ's to break the hitboxes to press an advantage, these guys are still using the rules of the game to theirs. And its not like those JJ's being busted is a "working as intended" feature like the meta mechs. (Which again I have no issues with.)

Greifing by not attacking at all is defiantly something that is not cool and should be punished if they are indeed not participating. But if they wanted to hold their attack on the main base off till the 15 minute mark or bellow, then I don't see anything that says they HAVE to run right into the grinder by x time. They can take the battle at their own pace as long as they are still participating in it. Even if the intent is to just hold you guys down as long as possible.

Agree on the population front, and I do hope that they can find a way to incentive's groups to help you get the population you need to avoid ghost drop tickets piling against you. As much as I'm fine with finding ways to tie individual units down, I'm not cool with the idea that this allows others to just rack up "free wins" against turrets just because you have a bigger population rather then playing the game.

Hopefully the population thing is addressed at some point though through proper incentives for other mercs to join you guys.
