So, now with the IIC mechs coming in, can we expect more IIC mechs for existing (and future) chassis? Also, what about the variants of the IIC chassis? Will the XP be rolled into the existing chassis (and thus clanners have to level up IS mechs) or will more IIC variants become available for the "needed three"? Some IICs don't have 3.....

I'm honestly hoping that they drop the whole stupidity that is the "3 mechs to master".
That'd be the only good thing, that'd come out of the whole IIC mechs.
.
.
I really don't like them.

I'm wondering how they are going to balance a IIC chassis. Has it been stated somewhere yet?

I'm wondering if the IIC chassis will have locked equipment like the engine. I mean, a IIC fully customizable with clan weapons and equipment would make them seem more ideal than a Clan Omnimech (even without the interchangable omnipods of an Omnimech).

They would also negate the only advantage IS has over Clans, that is, the higher freedom of customization.

They won't. That's what keeps people busy in the game, at least until they release more stuff (like PVE and Solaris).

(I wish you needed 3 variants for the ELITE level. For the BASIC, just 3 mechs of the same weight would be fair)

Nope, but I'd assume no hardpoint inflation, no quriks and very tight engine caps.

Have to admit the Jenner looks better with chickenlegs than the original's humanoid legs. Seems mechs with a horizontal torso suit chickenwalker style better while the ones with a vertical torso better suit the humanoid legs as I always thought mechs with a more or less humanoid upper body looked weird with chickenlegs.

So... now (in the end of the year, actually) we will have the IICs, it is safe to say the next Clan pack will be of non-IIC Clan battlemechs:

light: Piranha (it's the name of the company!!)
medium; Conjurer/Hellhound? [made famous by MW4, but will look very different] (or Vapor Eagle/Goshawk)
heavy: Grizzly? (or Glass Spider/Galahad, or Black Python/Viper)
assault: Kodiak

Oh PGI, I think you would sell much more of these mechs than the IICs...

>Black Python/Viper

sarna lists it as unseen, i dunno if it's unseen like marauder unseen or unseen as battlemaster unseen

Same for Jenner. It's Unseen (Victor Musicals), but not the problematic Unseen (Harmony Gold), so it's OK.

If PGI even manage to release the Macross stuff, here are two IIC extra packs:

- Light: UrbanMech IIC and/or Locust IIC
- Medium: Griffin IIC and/or Shadow Hawk IIC.
- Heavy: Warhammer IIC and/or Rifleman IIC
- Assault: Marauder IIC and/or Phoenix Hawk IIC

Perhaps, but I think that is what I like about the Jenner, and even the Cicada. They break the "norm" for chickenwalkers, which, IMO, gives them their own flavor and character. In general, I too prefer the chicken walker, but on the Jenner, the straight legs are pretty trademark, ya know?

Well, if I can't have the assassin or vulcan, my next choice would be

fast, agile, and totally different geometry, with good counter EBJ/ARC hardpoint locations.

Downside is available timeline variants, but TBH, that doesn't seem to be an issue, anymore.
