What I want to see is to never have all this stuff in the game. There's a lot of stuff that wound up on the TROs just to fill in pages and to give people stuff to obcess over. Gaming to the game late and having most of the stuff in 3025 and without all this stuff and I'm perfectly happy to never see it in the game. I know that new stuff has to keep coming out to keep players' attention, but really, the game is much better without all this stuff.

YMMV, to each their own, etc, etc, etc, whatever. Some people want it, but at least I don't want to see it.

It looks much more like with the Battletech's original concept art, and that's why I don't like it. Not because it's bad, but because the MWO's IS Highlander is just gorgeous.

That Orion though... it is everything you could expect of the Orion IIC.

That Orion though... it is everything you could expect of the Orion IIC.

But keep in mind that the IIC does follow the current Clan-aesthetics, of rounder edges, cleaner, more futuristic look as opposed to blocky, industrial, superior in almost every way aesthetics of IS designs.

Apparently a lot of people like that TRO/miniature HGN-IIC design compared to our IS HGN. I got this impression from people's opinions on my thread in GD.

I do like our IS HGN very much. That Alex redesigned the IS HGN but not the IIC makes me wonder why....

But that HGN-IIC design is just silly with that "hat", "wheels for shoulders", "round kneecaps", and "an oversized assault rifle for right arm" T_T Not to mention that the lasers arrangement on the left torso feels tacked on T_T

I don't have any objection with more rounded design and actually, I'd very much like if Alex was to redesign the IS HGN to fit Clan aesthetics to create the IIC version as opposed to copying the TRO art T_T

Sorry to those who like the classic HGN-IIC TRO art/miniature.

I didn't even recognize the heavier IICs. I didn't know that was a Highlander and the Orion, I thought it was a Dragon or something lol.

They look cool though. That Jenner was a bit of a dangerous SRM platform if I remember right.

The Hunch is known for its dual UA/C20s, but other than trolling, it will probably be something more practical (will Quad UA/C5s fit and have enough ammo?...hmm...).

I know very little about the bigger models, but I do know they look excellent.

I really like the HGN IIC head. Always have liked that look. Speeder Bike Stormtrooper -esque if you ask me.

The assault-style arm looks amazing as well. I doubt that would make it into the game like that, but I would love if it did. Would be perfect for a Gauss build.

I am not a fan of the rounded shoulder and knee pads, though. The camo pattern makes it look like Davion logos, which is even worse.

I'll conquer with that highlander statrment. I think it will be one of my main goals to hunt down and kill as any of those as I can. As iconic as alot of the TRO artwork is there are a great many more that can only be described as fugly. Alex has done wonders with the source material he has.

So, now with the IIC mechs coming in, can we expect more IIC mechs for existing (and future) chassis? Also, what about the variants of the IIC chassis? Will the XP be rolled into the existing chassis (and thus clanners have to level up IS mechs) or will more IIC variants become available for the "needed three"? Some IICs don't have 3.....

I'm honestly hoping that they drop the whole stupidity that is the "3 mechs to master".
That'd be the only good thing, that'd come out of the whole IIC mechs.
