I may want to propose a design for a possible hero stormcrow and hellbringer...
These are based of MW4: mercs however they do hold some place in peoples hearts and stuff...
Peter dexter as nearly all Solaris VII are 'apocryphal' and not 100% cannon, maybe 80% cannon, but not 100%.
He piloted a stormcrow in solaris... and in MW4 mercs... it had 4 x LRM 20... Low for MW: O standards, but "okay..." for TT.
Anyway. This could possibly be the hero stormcrow..... of course, no new hardpoints, but Side torso LRM quirks could be what makes this thing unique and be the best LRM stormcrow out there... custom solaris VII skin for the Factory would be nice, with reds and dark greys...
For hellbringer?
Simular story... this time with 3M hardpoints in 1 arm for 3 LRM 5's, and the side torso with 2 LRM 10's. and the oppasite arm with 3 Medium pulse lasers with a ECM weaponless torso. most E hardpoint for a arm, has a M hardpoint for arm...
Same with the Shadowcat... stock: UAC 20 (1T ammo), and ER large laser in the side torso... nothing the stock Shadowcat can't do, but limited hardpoints will provide interesting quirks*
unique.
using apocryphal designs or designs based on previous games may inspire PGI. who knows....
Posting this due to missing data for the clan hero mech possibilities.
*While on this topic... anyone mind tweeting russ that maybe to keep clan hero mechs original... they only allow the hero to use hero omnipods but standard omnipods can be added to the hero.
Another thing would be that perhaps if PGI chooses to add more focused quirks under the omnipod set bonus and also allow some of the general weapon quirk to come from the CT (thus making each alt config unique), applying these to the hero mech will also further make it unique....
Edit: yea yea I know, MW4 doesn't have that much of a place in MW: O. But it sitll inspires the MW part of this game ranging from the missile / energy/ ballistic hardpoint scheme to other mechanics...
Also I will not give up on my triple er ppc black knight.
