It isn't a bad build, but if you brawl with it it might be a better option for you to stick that UAC10 in the ST and ditch the ECM. Then you can do 3 ERMLas and a UAC10. Mean little Shadow Cat like that. The mech doesn't quite have the energy flexibility to pack a mid range energy punch, and its long range firepower is relegated to 2 LPLas, 3 ERLLas, or 2 ERPPC. The first of which is OK damage, but can't trade at all against IS LPlas BJs, the second which is OK, but has a stupidly long burn duration, and the third which would be fine if it wasn't for how bloody hot the ERPPC are. :\

I do run the uac in the st. Prefer the lasers in the arms. Don't like the heat from the 3rd laser.

Hey Odanan, the link under the Assignement Table spoiler button in the OP is busted, or at least it's busted for me.

I'm toying with the idea of picking up a SadCat and giving this build a spin, I think it has a decent punch at mid to short range...

InB4 Cyclops. They've had the art for it since before the Res1 pack assault poll, and Russ said it was one they already had.

Wish I could remember some of the others Russ has mentioned. He's mentioned a few more that Alex has concept art already done for, possibly in the Town Halls.

Edit: I could go for a 40-tonner or an Unseen light, myself.

Another one I forgot to mention, that was mentioned in another thread: The Longbow.

85 tons, Unseen, not-a-heavy. I'd be totally okay with that. I'd probably be happier with it than the Cyclops, honestly.

What I don't remember is whether it's one of the mechs Russ has metioned as having art. There are several more in addition to the Cyclops, and I'm restraining myself from picking through the Townhalls to find it.

We know they have the Cyclops and Flea and I do want to see these two mechs in game.

I would also like to see one more of the Classics too.

They probably have the Charger, since it was in the assault poll with the Zeus and Cyclops.

I suppose it will be another "Classic" (Macross Unseen), but the Charger or Assassin or Javelin would make me really happy.

There is one interesting piece of information (on Townhall+Twitter): Russ said there would be 2 mediums (one of them is the Viper) and 2 heavies next. Was he talking about only the Clans? Or will we see 1 of each class for both Clan and IS?

PS: Russ said in the Twitter the next IS mech won't be the Flea. (thanks God)

With out true collisions or melee, I think the Charger will be really lacking... But I'd be on-board with the Assassin.

Yes, that's why it wasn't a four pack of Clan Omni-mechs, he couldn't find any Assualt class Omni-Mechs he was happy with in the current time frame requirements.

He said Clans will get a run now simular to what the Unseen fans gots. IMO it's better to do every other because "droughts" for your factions mechs suck and keeping people interested. I am own mainly only clans, only IS mech I own is a Black Knight 6 set up as pure meta for OPFOR.
