Yes... Clans badly need a mech with "gun arms". (they have a lot of mechs without arm actuators, but none benefit from that)

Clan Mechs are usually at their best, when they are pocket versions of the next weight class up.... Artic Cheetahs and Adders are pocket Mediums, Storm Crow and Huntsman are both pocket heavies able to take on IS heavies, Timber Wolf, Night Gry and Nova Cat are all pocket Assualt Mechs, The Dire Wolf and Kodiak are pocket colossal class.
I've found when mechs try to mimic one weight class down, they can do it, but it comes at a heavy price, and is often best left to a Mech of a lower weight class. Point in example the Black Lanner is paying too much for the Engine size of 385xl and MASC to be able to pull light Mech speeds, that cost is lite armour and a small weapons payload, not worth it if you ask me.

The Black Lanner has no lite armor (it's just 1.5 tons less than the 55 tons max).
Clan mechs have the luxury to appear "pocket" versions of heavier IS mechs because the weight of the equipment. But most mechs in your list fill exactly in their weight classes - except the fact they can do much more damage/with more speed than the IS counterparts.
For a better analogy, I would say a heavy Clan mech, for instance, has the speed of an IS medium and the firepower/resistance of an IS assault mech.

All very true, but when I say "pocket", one referencing the Bismarck Battleship, that was a Heavy Cruise, with tgye Fire Power of a Battleship, but the speed and agility of a Cruiser, hence the term Pocket Battleship. What Clan Mechs don't out gun, they can out run, much like the Bismarck could.

The Bismarck?
You are referring to the armored cruiser Deutschland class - because the pocket battleship fits here best. Faster than most real battleships at this time - able to outgun faster heavy cruisers. (like the later Alaska Class?)
Scharnhorst and Gneisenau were poorly armed battlecruisers, but Bismark was a 100% true BattleShip.

Displacement wise, she was still a heavy cruiser/Battle Cruiser, she was not as heavily armoured as a US Montana, North Carolina or Iowa class ships. Much like how a Timber Wolf packs the fire-power of a Banshee dispute being a Heavy not an Assualt class.
See Odanan, I worked it back to the topic....

Well, look when they were designed. North Carolina and Bismark were both created to meet the Washington Naval treaty with a max displacement of 35.000, although they never meet the goal.
A battleship is a battleship by design or at least should be. the Barham or Tennessee are battleships as well even with ~10,000t less displacement.
Same for the "roles" - the TimberWolf should not behave like an Assault - while the Gargoyle should not behave like a Heavy. Maybe the Gargoyle is the "cruiser killer" type of the Assaults, while the Timber should be the Battlecruiser of the Heavys.
But you are right the Adder is supposed to be the "Medium Killing" Light.

the actuator stuff really needs some revision. I have no issues when the Jaeger or BlackJack don't have any horizontal movement for their arms. But why does the Hellbringer or Summoner don't get any when they mount ERPPCs.
Again we are stuck with a "rule of thumb" of the FASA Omni Rules, that don't reflect the need of MWO.
(best i have - no upper arm (visual) like the ShadowCats arm, or how the Lanner is supposed to look)
- no horizontal movement.
with visualising 5°
lower arms 10°
hands 15°

And again I'd rather the call out Huntsman, Pouncer or Coyotl... three actually good mediums to chose from....
I doubt they'll announce a second clan 40 tonner in a row so I think the best & most likely alternative to the Blanner is the Huntsman. Here's hoping it's not the Blanner.

They're categorized by class and tech base, to help make it less wall-o'-texty. Also, c-bill available mechs only. I'm hoping I didn't miss one.
I'd love to get plenty of votes, if you could be troubled to do so

No, not really.
The last 2 Town Halls went from Russ coming across disinterested to an outright dumpster fire where an apparently inebriated and combative Russ tried his damndest to undo the last 6 months or so of goodwill he built.
If the Forum/Twitter/Reddit QQ and such has been such that he is that burned out on doing them, and as long as NGNG is doing such a mediocre job screening and actualyl pressing questions, than I'd prefer that he stop until he actualyl feels like doing one again.
Because I'd say the last 2 did more harm than good.

I agree, guess I want a town hall worth the time, but at least I hope they keep the 1 mech a month going...I don't want to sit in a nothing zone anymore, as long as things are moving forward, which the past few weeks have seemed stale in general sadly. Why I wanted a townhall to liven things up a bit on here again....though yes, to much QQ kinda ruins everything.

If they can keep the Halls at an hour, an hour and a half, that's good. Honestly, even in the 4-hour Town Hall that had a lot of info in it could have easily, easily been compressed into half of that length. Question? Answer. Move on to the next.
Edit: And for the love of god, try not to be vague. For a PERFECT example, we could have had an entire shtick storm avoided had he just, from the get go, originally outright said a certain future mech was not going to happen right now. Be clear. Concise. Your company's plans are what they are, and you trying to be PC about it won't change your plans about it. So just out with it.

Russ should run for office. His "vague fu" is indeed quite the sight.
