Victor 9A1! Sadly I'm not qualifying for any top-tier reward... :(

And not sure i qualify for the MC reward, since i have bought MC, yet it says I don't qualify. Since everything else is Steam related, maybe they only count MC bought via Steam? If so that would be VERY dumb.

On Loyalty page it says..

Quote

You must have purchased any amount of MC* since October 18th, 2016 at 10:01 AM PDT (5:01 PM UTC)

OR you must have purchased any Steam Performance Bundle** (Light, Medium, Heavy, or Assault).

*MC purchased through the Steam portal counts toward the MechWarrior Credits eligibility.

**Steam Performance Bundles Must Be Purchased and Redeemed within the Eligible dates.

It says any amount, you should be qualified.

Yes. I read the page before posting. And I should, in theory qualify, and I don't.

You'll note that EVERYTHING else is specifically Steam, and the wording on the footnote is just vague enough to NOT be a guarantee. Thus, why I am asking PGI.

Kit Fox with ECM in the other arm!! Can I mount 2 and set one in "counter" and the other in "disrupt"?

I'm just imagining the Frankenfoxes we're due to see now. There's no way to individually toggle em, but you'd get enough ECM on one robot to blank even a Beagle Probe, assuming it just doesn't prevent you from adding a second ECM.

Just wanted to double check.

If it isn't, then I would think that either it is bugged, or you haven't

It is showing as checked off for me. Posted Image

Hence the point in asking here. But I mean... I've got 46000 posts (not something to brag about), I mean, give me some credit for knowing where to find stuff on my account by now?

It's better to confirm here THEN write support than to just fire off support messages in the first place.

I tend to forget stuff like that myself.

Had to go digging to find out if I qualified.
Very easy to forget that other people are not as absent minded as I am. Posted Image

Well, considering the Loyalty mechs themselves, I quite like that not only are there two Lights(both of which I qualify for), but that the MC reward is a Light this time and not another IS medium(like it has been for all the other ones). The mechs themselves look neat in terms of paint scheme and loadout. I am especially liking that Griffin. Quad LMgs with some MRMs and lasers to taste? Great. The Kit Fox is also a nice touch, since with it's advent the KFX will be able to put any weapons system it wants in it's torsos(barring big ballistics on the S torsos). The UM-R68(I don't mind this kind of name change since it brings it more in line with the other variants) is a neat additon that I have actually pushed for in the past.

I kinda want the top loyalty reward because, you know, bagpipes. That would mean I'd have to buy clanmechs though. I don't know if I can in good conscience do that and not feel dirty.

Filthy, filthy clanners and their dirty clantech. :)

There is nothing wrong with IS troops using ClanTech, if they can manage it. During the FCCW, some of the elite DCMS units have a very high amount of ClanTech in their ranks (1st Genyosha: 45% ClanTech, Otomo: 45%, 1st SoL: 33%, 2nd Dieron Regulars: 50%, etc.).
Rasalhague, Lyrans, FedSuns, and ComStar also use ClanTech regularly, as do a few merc units. The only ones with little to no ClanTech are the Capellan, the FWL, Periphery natiions, and WoB.

Some ClanMechs are even common enough in IS ranks to be listed in RATs. The DCMS RAT of 3067 e.g. includes Stormcrow, Ebon Jag, Direwolf, and Mist Lynx; that of the AFFS includes the Mad Cat Mk.II; 2nd SLDF has Nova Cat and Supernova (not only for the Nova Cats but also for IS units like 1st Royal BattleMech Regiment); etc.

So, no need to feel dirty. Posted Image

Let me present to you all, the Narc Knight.

Partisan
XL350
6 Mlas
1 Uac10
1 narc

The idea I really want to do with this build is to have 8 - 10 of these as frontline mechs supported my lrm boats. Since every frontline mech has a narc the lrmers will almost always have a lock. The narc is even mounted high on the shoulder.

I see no need of more than 2 NARCs in a team because it's useless to have many enemies NARC'ed at the same time. Also, I would prefer a very fast mech with ECM (and stealth armor?) to use the NARC and get away quickly.

The design idea is basically for the frontline guys who are already engaging to also narc. That way you're not dedicating a mech or two from your team to do it. That mech can be more damage focused instead of support.

Of course there is no reason you couldn't do this with just two narc knights if thats your preference. Honestly the idea is just to have a different type of narc'er. Plus people tend to back off when narc'd so the Narc knight can use the power of fear (just like the dark knight hahah) to gain an advantage

It's just that that tonnage for the NARCs and ammo goes a long way toward the heat efficiency, speed, and armor of those front-liners.

If you're gonna commit to it, best not to mechlab-nerf too many BKs. :(

Edit: spelling
