I'm sure he would produce art at a slower pace if he is dead.
(just kidding! Anyone can see you meant "did") ;P

I know, stupid tired typing. Always ends in a typo....

PS: about the art, most people here not only loved the Alex Iglesias' renditions but also would take a bullet for him. I guess you are in the very small minority that didn't like the MWO art. I suggest you take a look in this game. Maybe you will find what you are looking for.

I'd take an AC round for him and his artwork

well this is an other pro unseen. from my research Harmmony Gold does not own the skins of the unseen. FASA does both in the courts of the US and in Japan. FASA did enter an agreement with Harmony Gold not to use the unseen from Macross/Robotech even tho FASA can legaly use them. the unseen that this includes are the stinger, wasp, valkerie, phoenixhawk, crusader, rifleman, archer, warhammer, maruader, ostascout, ostacol, and ostroc. the other unseen locaust, scorpion, griffion, shadowhawk, wolverine, thunderbolt, battlemaster, and the golith are taken from Dolgrum. these mechs have never had thier legal status challenged. thier use is given. the only thing that the unseen share is the skin, in all other aspects they are different mechs. for example a warhammer from battletech/mechwarrior is not the same mech as a tomahawk from macros/robotech. even tho they look the same they are two vastly different machines.

all that needs to be done to stinger, wasp, valkerie, phoenixhawk, and crusader is to remove the "wings" from the back of the torso. the stinger and wasp is not really needed as the spider fills thier role. All PGI really needs to do is work thier magic in updating/reskinning the old unseen mechs as they have done for ones all ready in game.

Skin is just the texture, not the whole mech design...

There are lots of reasonable arguments here. I sincerely don't know anymore if I want the Unseen/Reseen in the game - certainly not if there is a minor chance of legal problems.

I would prefer the ANH-2A or ANH-1X variant.

Banshee (35%), Zeus (25%), or Hatamoto-Chi (15%). Charger (15%), Cyclops (5%) or Annihilator (5%).

It would be nice to get a mech from each tonnage 20, to 100 by 5s Locast would be a nice 20 tons has hardpoint with all the weapon groups (missle,Bastlic and energy). for a 45 a Phoenix Hawk looks good, like to see you stay away from have more the one tonnage ex. Hunchback ,Centurion and Trebuchet know its too late and is set in stone but all 50s. 55tons Men Shen would be great another ecm specific mech. 75 tons Perseus would fit great has 5 varients and cover all the weapon hardpoints and has a mech with ecm as well. 95 most likely the Banshee the way to go and I know the year is off (3060) but the Hauptmann would be awesome variant that jumps one with ecm and good looking mech with a energy hardpoint in the head that look like he smoking a cigar just my 2 cents and probably not even worth that.

Locust is unseen and we already have 20 ton Flea.
P-Hawk is also unseen and the only other choice for a 45 tonner is our beloved Vindicator.
Men Shen and Perseus are both mechs created much, much later in the timeline. Besides, we already have 75 ton Orion.

This makes me sad ;)

Edit - Actually NO. F*ck that. I don't want to see people with four UAC/5's.

Read the OP ("Follow up candidates")

BTW, MechaG, the Hauptmann was introduced in 3060, 10 years from now. Read the OP ("The Timeline")

I would like the Mauler, eventhough the lack of variants at this time point is lacking...

I love Zeus, but I want Banshee to fit 95 ton spot.

Just like everyone of us want to fit 55 ton with Shadow Hawk, too bad it's unseen.

Why does each weight slot "NEED" to be filled? We've got 4 categories (Light, Medium, Heavy, and Assault). Is a 95 ton mech gonna perform THAT much differently from a 90 or 100 ton one? It's been mentioned that we already have 3 50 ton mechs and I am just fine with that. More if you consider the variants. If and when (proof either way) they implement weighted drops, I'd rather have the choice of a couple different 80 ton mechs anyways..... Just my thoughts. Think we are focused too much on filling each weight slot than looking at the important things.....
