You do have a point. The clans have been overdue for their Jagermech counterpart and we could always use more 80 tonners. The Warhammer IIC and Phoenix Hawk IIC fit that gap perfectly.

I just provide the facts and observations. Were it up to me I would have driven a stake through the shriveled lump HG calls a heart decades ago and chucked the head into the sea. And done the fans of both IPs a great service in the process.
I could think of more painful ways for HG to suffer for all of the pain they have caused (not just for Battletech but for Robotech and Macross fans alike), but sharing those thoughts on this site would probably warrant a ban on my account so just use your imagination.
I'd just wished that PGI would have chosen the RFL-IIC back in the day over the MAD-IIC, because at least in my point of view it would have been harder for HG to cry over that design compared to the marauders. I'm going to theorize that PGI might have had plans to release the MAD-IIC, WHM-IIC, and RFL-IIC in that order (just like the classic IS line up) until the sh*tty public news announcement of the lawsuit around the time when the Marauder IIC was released.
