You do have a point. The clans have been overdue for their Jagermech counterpart and we could always use more 80 tonners. The Warhammer IIC and Phoenix Hawk IIC fit that gap perfectly.

I just provide the facts and observations. Were it up to me I would have driven a stake through the shriveled lump HG calls a heart decades ago and chucked the head into the sea. And done the fans of both IPs a great service in the process.

I could think of more painful ways for HG to suffer for all of the pain they have caused (not just for Battletech but for Robotech and Macross fans alike), but sharing those thoughts on this site would probably warrant a ban on my account so just use your imagination. Posted Image

I'd just wished that PGI would have chosen the RFL-IIC back in the day over the MAD-IIC, because at least in my point of view it would have been harder for HG to cry over that design compared to the marauders. I'm going to theorize that PGI might have had plans to release the MAD-IIC, WHM-IIC, and RFL-IIC in that order (just like the classic IS line up) until the sh*tty public news announcement of the lawsuit around the time when the Marauder IIC was released.

I don't know, I think the Pixi IIC could slip past...

50/50 on this version:

I'd give this one 70/30

So, we agree this

will show up in a week, right?

(maybe a little more time ahead because of the Solaris 7 hero pack)

I would not mind an Argus.

One of my favorite mechs, that is (at least in this timeline, i guess).

This version of the Longbow sidesteps the Unseen issue entirely. If I can get this and the Sagittaire, I'll be happy.

I'd be down for the Longbow, but I'd want the 13NAIS version with LAC/5's....

The tank, fore sure, frack the Argus though... I want to ruin someone's day with a Rommel/Patton, Demolisher or what would be the meta Alacron....

Must Have
Longbow
Sagittaire

Nice To Have
Glass Spider
Stone Rhino
Kraken
Turkina
Viking
Templar
Blood Kite
Savage Coyote

Lets hope they do something truly bonkers and give us some tanks... I mean we've got 360 degree turret control, thanks to the Urbanmech, we have abysmal hill climbing ability thanks to slugs like the Dire Wolf....

Hell if they are worried about IK, then they could go with giving us hover vehicles rather than treads or wheeled....

Yea the more I think about this, given PGI's ability and their FrankinCode, the more I think they could make tanks work!

The quick play was not designed with vehicles in mind, specially in the hand of the players, but I would love to see AI-controlled vehicles in Faction Play.

Don't care if it was designed with them in mind, the game was designed with out an idea of a lot of features we have now....

Besides a tank would be at a slight disadvantage to a mech, but I still think they would make a great option to use as players... as I said, I want to ruin someone's day in a demolisher / demolisher II / devastator (demolisher variant with twin HGR's)....

You don't understand. A tank wouldn't be able to move over most part of the existing maps. Would you like to play with a vehicle that can't access places even the slowest Annihilator can reach?

Besides, vehicles in general (even the most armored tanks) are very fragile and can blow even if their armor (in that particular component) is not totally destroyed.

The silver limning is: thanks to the mod support, you will be able to pilot tanks in MW5.

BTW, Argus tomorrow?

I know all that Odana, that was why I suggested even limiting it to hover vehicles so that they could have some hill climb ability.

Let's fix the Nightstar.

1) Change structure quirks to armor quirks on all variants
2) Allow for the removal of hand actuators which serve absolutely no purpose at all and would free up some much-needed slots

I think those two things alone would make an enormous difference.
