Unless we get another MechCon PGI original, which should be the turn of the IS again (hoping for an IS OmniMech).

I wouldn't mind if PGI was done making their own mechs. They created one IS mech and one Clan mech, and that seems like a good place to stop IMO. I like that they were able to put their fingerprint on the franchise with a couple of new mechs, but I don't want them to get carried away and keep adding and adding more newly invented mechs.

It isn't a big deal for me if they keep doing it per se, it just feels like one per faction is a good place to stop for MWO.

I personally hope they return to the FCCW-era at least for a bit. It was not properly explored as we got too many sideshow Mechs like the Uziel which noone likes in MWO anyway.

But I can see why they focus on SW-era designs.

Yeah I'd rather they announce IS omni's. Maybe a PGI created Omni? Since so many are less than desirable.

Since IS has 4 100 ton & 3 5 80 ton 'mechs, how about 80 100 tons?

There's 4 80t mechs. Awesome, Zeus, Charger & Hatamoto. But I agree it'd be great if they made mechs to fill less represented tonnages.

No need to create new mechs just for filling lacking weights. Just pick the good ones:
Raptor: 25 tons.
Men Shen: 55 tons.

Oh of course, but if PGI were to make another IS original 'mech, why not make it an OmniMech and why not fill in one of the missing tonnage slots?

OK I would bet that its a heavy IS Mech (When you ignore UrbanMech and the Originals the IS is short one heavy Mech compared to clans.

You have 3 Lights per side, 5 mediums, 4 heavys (3 for IS) and 6 for assaults.

You can also see that assaults sell best. - with the BattleCobra you could have a package similar to the Charger/Hatamoto - and for the devs its one Mech that is used by Clan and IS alike. But its a already saturated medium.

So a light.... Wasp/Stinger/Valkyrie would be great but I don't think that we will ever see those most used BattleMechs ever in this game. To slow to light armored and not hard point inflated enough. ... uhm maybe its a Firefly?

Well the Wasp/Stinger would sell because they're unseen but I do agree that would be tempered by them being lights. They're not slow btw. They have the same base engine as the Flea but instead of masc you get JJs.

Pulverizer (because they need a stylish Assault that is not vanilla)
Stooping Hawk - I love to hate this guy - horror at the table pure zombie
Skin Walker - because this is near the absolute maximum you can get... and you have BattleArmor Cockpit

IS is hard simple for the reason that the community wanted so many shite mech (Urgsl, Thanatussi, Holepawn)
