I agree.
Betting on the inclusion of Mixtech is just a bad idea.
Unless of course they remove all of the locks on OmniMechs, such that they essentially just become BattleMechs with a little more freedom to place things.

Something Geekiness about that Tinfoil Head (and to bump the thread as i am waiting of the announcement of the Banshee):
The Tinfoil Heads are Dampening most Elektromagnetic Signals and Frequencys.
But have an Amplifying Effect on 4 Frequencies which are known to be in the Bandwith of the Brain.
So carrying a Tinfoil Head makes it infact easier to read another Mind or control it.
One of the Frequency that is Magnified can even be tested out. It's the "open" Frequency of 433khz.
It's the Frequency used by most small Electronics, like Car Keys.
Out Skull protects us against this Frequency and grounds it. You can test it by holding your Car Key with the Metal Part against Your Skull, then the Transmitting Range of your Car Key is about doubled !
Tinfoil Heads grounds the sameway against your Skull on the Same Frequency. So it would make trying to control your brain on this "open" Frequency more Effektiv. There are 3 others on which a Tinfoil Helmet works like an Antenna.
The Goverment controls the Medias, and may have seeded it... now Conspiracy Fans you have something to chew on.
The Tinfoil Helmet Amplifies intrestingly on the Frequencies which were "open" so no Radio/Television Broadcast
would be on it. Only Military or Govermental use, or Open for small range devices (up to 100 Meters).
TLDR;
Want Banshee, was bored so bumped Thread,
Tinfoil Helmets helps to control your Brain, not protect against it.

Niko, what are you talking about? Odanan has posted the ACTUAL dates the announcements came out for various BattleMechs. The only speculative date is the last one. Unpinning this thread was just plain dumb.

I hate to say it, but I think I may have set a precedent.
I made a similar thread (regarding projected dates and so on) with the Hero Mechs. And that is a speculative thread, despite the fact I'd argue that a great deal of it isn't.

This man right here. Come on Niko, just because you're bored out of your mind doesn't mean you should go around making changes. The forum is an avenue for the community, and the community was the one that demanded this thread be pinned.
The community is now objecting the baseless decision to unpin this topic.

MWO will continue to build more iconic IS mechs and maps w/ alternated up to about 8 maps + alternates.
Likely mechs in there will be the Zues, Victor, Cyclopse, Charger, Banshie and possibly the Panther, Javlin and Urbanmech.
MWO 1.0 happens when;
1. Change the UI to make communication between players possible that don't already each other outside the . Likely sorted into a chat window that is General/House/Regiment(clan)/Company(squad)
2. Faction become selectable through the games UI and may have benefits after a certain time. (like 10% C-bill off a Catapult if your Drac, Atlas is your Lyran, XP/C-Bill boosts for undermanned factions)
3. A Galactic Map is inputted with the "state of affairs" Hots spots w/ boost associated with Hotspots and important area.
We will play with those things with new content slowly coming out until 3051 or 3052. MWO 2.0: The Clan Invasion.
THis faction will likely almost a conversion to a new game with people joining that faction. C-Bills go out the window with Honor points being awarded and Assist being not penalized with Zeilbrigen being prized. All the OPs clanmechs become available to clan players. IS players unable to acquire those clan tech weapons w/o playing out the nose for the privilege (a Timberwolf is 24.5m Cbills btw) and those juicy clan tech being restricted to clan chassis.
PUGing will be something one does whilenew or just making money w/ clan mechs being heavy weighted in the MM in addition to your own statistics amping or drawing it down. Clan player will also likely have their honor points acquired being dampened by tactical requirements and Zelbrigen.

On a more serious note, this was one of the most entertaining threads of the whole forum that surely did not do much harm.
Why unpinn it? The only thing you achieve by this is a) people getting the MAD or conspiracy.

Nerf L2P, add ECM and Streak SRM2s to this thread and maybe it'll get repinned.
Honestly though, it's probably because they're trying to clean up the 50 posts at the top of every forum. While this is an amazing thread, between it and the repainted concept art thread I keep myself too, I'm ok with it being unpinned as we're running to the end of the first big run of announced IS 'mechs. After the next assault gets released I think any further announcements of designs is going to be sporadic when they finally do show back up, and not in any specific order/rule set besides needs 3 variants.
We post enough here that this thread stays on first page, anyway.
Cyclops for next Assault, WOO!
