You don't need a Wolfhound. (and I'm sorry to say: you won't have it)
Customize a Swayback or (even better) a Jenner to have the same loadout.
The thing is: the Wolfhound is very limited. The two possible variants have the same weapons (OK, one has ER Large Laser instead of Large Laser and double heat sinks instead of singles).

(or the Banshee, or the Victor, or the Zeus, or even the Charger?)

The release dates of the mech's concept arts:
- ?: Atlas, Hunchback and Jenner.
- 23/11/11: Dragon
- ?: Catapult
- 25/01/12: Centurion
- 22/02/12: Commando
- 28/03/12: Awesome
- 25/04/12: Raven
- 09/05/12: Cicada
- 23/05/12: Cataphract
- 06/06/12: Stalker
- 20/06/12: Trebuchet
- 04/07/12: JagerMech (first person to figure out the day)
- 18/07/12: Spider (what the frak?)
- 01/08/12: Cyclops (or Banshee, or Victor, or even Zeus)
And now I'm going to do a Nostradamus thing:
- 15/08/12: No mech, but the FIRST RUMORS ABOUT THE CLANS (people will be very distracted with the Open Beta - so they need a huge announcement)
- 29/08/12: Start of the announcements of the clan mechs (the flavor texts can be something like reports from surviving IS pilots)
The clan mechs we already know: these 16 (I'm writing the IS names):
Light:
- Dasher
- Koshi
- Puma
- Uller
- Black Hawk
- Dragonfly
- Fenris
- Ryoken
- Loki
- Mad Cat
- Thor
- Vulture
- Daishi
- Gladiator
- Man o'War
- Masakari
Off course I can be wrong and they could extend the IS mech announcements. Firestarter (light), Blackjack (medium), Orion (heavy) and Victor/Cyclops/Zeus/Banshee (assault) are very strong candidates. After these, there aren't many good options).
Okay I'm digging the Nostradamus vibe!!

Mad Cat, or (more acuratelly) Timberwolf, the most iconic clan mech.

I can't deny, that's a sweetass looking mech.
Anyway, ready to be impressed by the AI/FD's Cyclops!

Cyclops: Sweet tonnage, at least 4 available variants, one of them mounting dual Gauss Rifles... but no Jump Jets.
Highlander: Sweet tonnage, Jump Jets. But only two available variants, both with almost the same all-around loadout, resembling Atlas-D. And rare.
Victor: Jump jets. At least 4 variants, some of them carry many ballistic weapons (though these are MGs). But too light tonnage, overlapping with Awesome.
Banshee: Nice tonnage, lots of variants. But no ballistic-heavy loadouts and no Jump Jets.
Charger: At least 4 variants, some jumping. But no ballistics and overlapping tonnage.
I almoust could think that they'll give us the Emperor. At least this 90-tons btard has both Jump Jets and ballistic-heavy armament. Yes, only two available variants, closely resembling each other, and the mech is rare, but... what else could it be? Or we're not getting jumping assault.
And I would also be glad to see the Pillager. It both jumps and sports twin Gauss Rifles. But again, rare and only two available variants. Overlapping tonnage, too, but it's better to have another 100-tonner than another 80-85 tonner.
4 hours to go.

You almost make me want for the Victor. Several ballistic hardpoints... that could work.
4 hours indeed.
BTW, isn't the Pillager kind of extinct? (at least until the resuming of the production)
And there is a Charger with ballistics, the CGR-1A5.
Emperor and Highlander resumed production only in 3057.
