Indeed.

Wanted Banshee, but Victor is a good mech should be able to operate like a Heavy, good speed, mobility(jump jets), plenty of fire power. It will certainly become the work horse on the Battlefield. get ready to be Victimized. :)

Well... now that that is finally done we can start speculating about Septembers mech. I figure we will find out this one in 1 or 2 months but not longer. Since next month is Orion, and then the Victor, after that the Flea, it would make sense for a Medium...

Kintaro anyone?

I think Clans will come. Maybe a bundle of 4, all weight classes, to have a kickstart.

No, they said clans will be 4 to 6 months after CW. CW comes at the end of summer which is at the end of September, so we still have at least 5 unannounced mechs to go before the clans start coming out.

Well Bishop Steiner isn't around at the moment but I'm sure he would be the first to say, "I told you so!" if he was able. :)

Was Victor predicted or something else and which mech?

I have been predicting (and begging) for the Victor. And I know what my "personal" mech is going to end up.

The Victor looks awesome!

Can we expect the next Battlemech announcement in 2 - 3 weeks?

Truth to say, closest I expect a new mech concept is only after Orion's released.

Can't complain bout the artwork, just not the mech I was hoping for.

Wanted something much more diverse and on the heavier end of the assault spectrum.
Oh well, it's an assault. I'll still master it.

Okay, So I started my day thinking it would be a huge letdown. I went to work and had a rather busy day. However I had a moment to sit down and finally check the MW:O website. I saw the front page and was all:

And for a brief moment after that I was all:

Which was followed immediately by:

And then I hit the forums and saw this:

And immediately I was all:

because of this

Then I saw the image and was simply:

And I was so excited I wanted to scream and let everyone know but I was at work and had to be quiet... but if I could have been it would have looked like this:

and in closing

Since there is already another mech announced for after the Victor (being the Flea). I would expect the next announcement to come out after the Victor is released.

I think the picture might be of the VTR-9B which has an AC20, SRM4 and 2 Medium Lasers which this definitely fits the description.

Possible variants based on intro date:

VTR-9A, VTR-9A1 (redundant version of the 9A), VTR-9B, VTR-9S, VTR-9D (3049?), VTR-9K (3049?)

No idea on a possible canon timeline hero mech, anyone have any ideas?

Edit: yes the list was redundant due to above posting but I figured I'd make it easier to read >.>

Is it a fact the leg mounted MG's on one variant will be transfered to the corresponding torsos?

fast, jump capable and mounting all 3 weapon classes.... not sure how much more diverse you can get?

nope

just an assumption, based on the fact that that's what they did in the same situation with the CDA-3C

i get a sinking feeling they will move them to the Center Torso to keep them in the "spirit" of the originals.

The CT is where two of the four Jump Jets on the stock loadout are located; the variant does not normally have weapons there, which is a point the Devs seem to still(?) care about.

IMO, it is more likely that they would move them up from each leg to the respective side-torso, or possibly put both of them in one side-torso or the other.

I would agree, if it weren't my general expectation of Nerf and Disappointment in these things.
