Reseens! Nice, but i'm not interested, cause i was never a fan of the unseen/reseen mechs. I'll spend no money to PGI, until the Clans and their stuff are reday for launch. For now, my good ol' IS founder trashcans are good enough.

I'm not interested either, I don't really want the locust at all, I don't pilot lights, but yes to everything else.

I went Elite because I could choose the founder mech I wanted, since besides the AS7-D, none of the other 3 suited my interests.

The new packages don't allow me to get a choice, and if I want the bigger mechs be it the medium, the heavy or the assault, I'm forced to go with the most expensive package, without any MC added within it (which is what I'd like to have). So no thanks.

I hope they'll create 3 further tiers, with 30$ (chose 1 mech), 50$ (chose 2 mechs) and 70$ (chose 3 mechs) I could rethink about the packages, but besides this, reseen/unseen or not, there's nothing for me to see here.

Besides the above, this pits us into the reality that clanmechs are truly 1 year from now.
We're covered up to january officially, then we'll probably add 7 more mechs like butane and I thought about the previous page (2 more lights, 2 more meds, 1 heavy and two more assaults) that should get us full with mech releases up to August/Sept of 2014.

By then, with this schedule, we'll have the Clan Founder package or Clan Project or whatever, where PGI will start releasing clanmechs and tech from the end of 2014's summer.

Current Mechs

Lights currently have 6.
Mediums currently have 6
Heavies currently have 7.
Assaults currently have 6.

So we could see 2 more lights, mediums and assaults and 1 heavy.

My guesses?

Medium
Sentinel/Clint (Clint because of the possible IIC version)
Vindicator

Don't forget that both the Griffin and Wolverine are now in the running for possible mediums.

I hope after these Reseens and the remaining 3 IS mechs (light: Urbie or Firestarter; medium: Clint or Vulcan; and assault: Banshee or Cyclops) they:

EITHER start one more round of Reseens (tough which would be the next assault Reseen? Marauder II? I think there are only 2 time-wise variants...)
EITHER start the release of Clan mechs.

Giving us an 8th round of non-Reseen IS mechs would be too much (there are very few good options left, to be honest).

I don't know that we will see the big 12 unseen mechs. They seem to be the sticking point for most of the unseen troubles. Who knows though, they may just be waiting on the proper moment to do some Harmony Gold bait.

PJT PHN looks kewl, Overlord good value but, when are we going to hear any news on the Banshee, (fan fav) Urbie, and which 100ton mech made the cut Devastator?. as far as mechs go a pack with the Urbie, ShadowHawk. Banshee, Devastator, would be just as interesting. anyway, good luck on your Project Phoenix promotion <_<

While the current round of Phoenix 'Mechs offers some hope, I would imagine that the Macross-derived 'Mechs (Stinger, Wasp, Valkyrie, Phoenix Hawk, Crusader, Ostroc, Ostsol, Ostscout, Behemoth, Archer, Warhammer, Rifleman, Longbow, Marauder, and Marauder II) are deeper into the gray area than those from Crusher Joe or Dougram or the works of Victor Entertainment (formerly Victor Musical Industries)...? <_<

I didn't but if you notice they are tending to stay towards the lower tonnage brackets. So far the only low tonnage bracket without 2 announced mechs is the 40 ton bracket. A Clint could give the clans a IIC version which ups it's chances. The only reseen with a serious chance would probably be the Phoenix Hawk.

The Banshee remains the only 95 ton mech in serious production with the variants. I highly doubt they'll leave the tonnage bracket empty.

Wolverine would be the most solid medium they could add, good speed, weapons and jump jets.

Also, don't count on seeing anything from Macross, meaning marauder and it's ilk will most likely stay hidden

so it means we get a one year reprieve before the whole game flushes down the toilet? Outstanding!

Lol by then I hope we'll be playing a different game, albeit Clans will make a hard living with current IS tech or they'll confine clans to mercs and houses to IS only. Who knows..

You have to factor in their team working on CW. Once CW is done and implemented some will be placed on the Clan Invasion team while others will work towards fixing collision. Once the ones fixing collision are done they will probably start working on mechs. Which means we might be able to start seeing 2 mechs a month sooner. We'll see though.

Where'd you find that? Also that looks pretty darn good. Darnit Alex why are you such a good artist?

Edit: NVM I see it on the front page though the Project Phoenix page itself isn't updated.

When we're at it, anyone else wondering where will they stuff the remaining 15 LRM tubes needed for SHD-5M?

Did the math on the Shadow Hawk

Internals - 5.5 tons
Engine - 21.5 tons
+2 heat sinks - 2 tons
AC5 - 8 tons
AC5 Ammo - 1 ton
SRM2 - 1 ton
SRM ammo - 1 ton
LRM5 - 2 tons
LRM ammo - 1 ton
Medium Laser - 1 ton
Jump jets - 1.5 tons (3 total)
Armor - 9.5 tons

Total tonnage - 55 Woot.

Also was checking variants on the MUL

SHD-2H - Stock Model featured above
SHD-2D - -5 tons armor, +1 SRM2 and ML
SHD-2K - PPC exchanged for other weaponry and added heatsinks. LRM5 remains.
SHD-5M - LosTech Upgrade. massive revisions. UAC5, LRM20, SSRM2 and retains the ML. Endo & DHS.
SHD-2D2 - Unlikely due to being a marginally better 2D.

Edit: With the release of variant info they did not give it 4 jump jets but 3 and the free half ton to armor.

It looks like that chest has enough real estate on it for a bit more. Maybe swap the SRM to the other side of the head.

The Phoenix site got updated and oh my....

I mean, if there every was a variant that made the whole mech look bad, it would have to be the SHD-2H, but with the 3 ballistics, 3 missile slots they gave it for MW:O, it is probably not oing to live up to that. :(

Probably you can't.
BTW, these mechs have lots of variants, but only a few different enough. Maybe there will be only 3 variants for each mech.
