Posted ImageThe -X3 carried four ER Medium Lasers in the right arm and an ER PPC in the left arm, connected to a Targeting Computer. The true uniqueness of the design came in its use of Improved Jump Jets: the -X3 could jump up to 240 meters, which rivaled the jumping capability of any light 'Mech. This combination of heavy armor, speed and firepower made -the X3 the nightmare of any light or medium 'Mech and could outmaneuver any heavy or assault 'Mech. The -X3 mounted seventeen double heat sinks.[7] BV (1.0) = 1,992[8], BV (2.0) = 2,210.[7]

not enough torso contours and boxy heft, IMO. Almost power armory.

Your list is way to short. This is the most popular and mass produced heavy mech in the game used by all houses. It was so popular they made a all laser cousin Ostsol.

40tons:
Assassin
Clint
Whitworth
Hermes

Lights:
Javelin
Hermes
Hussar
Hollander
Ostscout
Panther
Wolfhound (experimental)

Gives the Dev. teams graphic department something to work on. Give it some plastic surgery.

There are much more urgent designs in the Macross Unseen department, like the Marauder and Warhammer.
If PGI is willing to face HG, they should do it for something worthy, not these Ost-scrap.

Much better, Bishop.
Still an Ost, tough.

I'd really love to see what Kiriage could do with that one. He made my King Crab into a thing of beauty.

Too bad that you could not enter this design in the contest, I bet that it would have beat out Resident's design. Though I noticed people complaining still that the arms are not in front of the legs while I can understand them wanting the unseen it really does not make sense from a design view.

Depends on what type of missiles. If you decided to put on LRMs, I have a suggestion that might be a tad blasphemes but would match the pod style on the Marauder and look cool.Posted Image if you look at the right sholder you will see a vertical missile launcher that I think would look cool (I always loved vertical launching missiles) and fit the MAD pretty well otherwise you may as well throw that CSSRM6 pod that you see on the Timber Wolf.

lol I guess that would have to tide me over until the clans arrive. Although my guess is that the American military will phase out the Abrams and introduce walking battletanks before we get the Marauder. Either case would make me very happy.
