i got to get dosbox to work first, then find a copy of GBL to load. For whatever reason, my old system always had issues with Dosbox, and I haven't tried on my new one. Though I did find my windows 8 Laptop runs MW4 (discs not mektek) like a top!

Thanks. That's just about everything I could find. Sadly there isn't a great big database for this stuff. Wish someone would either add it to the Master Unit List or make something like the MUL.

There is some LosTech that is really lost (and will be rediscovered only much later), like the Snub-Nose PPC.
The PPC in the Orion "Protector" was this weapon, instead of a regular PPC.

Not to mention that while factories can turn out these products, for many, the knowledge behind the factory is lost. If the factory is destroyed, it cannot be rebuilt. It took Davion a long time and countless billions of c-bills to restore the Kathil Shipyards and even then, it was just restored to functionality. Davion couldn't just build it anew......

Also I was wrong on something.

Wolverine WVR-7D - Major upgrade to the chassis. XL Engine, Ferro-Fibrous and MASC. Upgrades the AC5 and Medium laser to a UAC5 and Medium Pulse Laser. Retains it's Jump jets and SRM6.

We most likely won't see this because for the most part it can be built using the 6R. However the one thing this unit does have is MASC. So if PGI changes the hard points a bit we might see it.

Warrior: Coupe, chapter 39 specifically by Michael A. Stackpole. Read the whole book to catch the desperation of the situation and the all three of the Warrior trilogy for the 4th Succession War as a whole.

Its a good deal better than what we have now, it's not only a ball park away, but an entire universe, than the sad offering we have in game (yes this is a subject I will bang on about until even the pope gets down on his knees and begs me to stop), but its still not as good as 'That' picture which if it was in Lyran Comonwealth colours instead of Draconis, then it would be the god of mechs.

Though your above example would stop me bitching about it until people ears bleed

What is the point of releasing Re-seen if the only resemblance is the name.
