What do you guys think?
I think that is a good way to get the thread locked or otherwise derailed. Let us keep up the obsession for the Urbie and leave patch feedback for the eight billion threads already talking about it...

I gave polite suggestions.
Are you so afraid of the mods to do not express constructively your opinion?
Besides, this is a thread of "everything about mechs". Modules are an important part of the mechs (which PGI once again missed to get it right).

Basically we should not talk about anything since the only way that we will see an Urbie is when PGI feels like trolling us. Odanan had a good point in asking about the modules since PGI obviously thinks that they will change the game and I agree with them.
My view is that I like most of the modules with the exception being the weapon modules. We need more that are different. Right now all we have is range boosts that feel rather lacking but if PGI decides to release ROF mods (at the cost of damage), Damage mods (boosts damage at the cost of range or ROF), Heat mods (less heat at the cost of damage or range), etc. I think that PGI would nail their role warfare and create a lot more variety and make some modules worth getting. Imagine taking a stock Warhawk that is more heat efficient or a brawler that can keep the DPS up and shaking the enemy.

Whatever makes you feel better about it, but there are tons of threads already talking about it. I do not disagree with you, and have expressed my opinion about it in several threads already, but I do not think it has anything to do with this thread and honestly do not want to have ANOTHER thread complaining about it on my notification list.

It'd be like the 9-PPC builds killing Dasihi, except you'd be alive but unarmed rather than melted and dead

The worst part of this is that it's utter garbage compared to the original cover:

But ROC had a whole series of reprints that ended up with garbage for front images. That's one of many facepalm-inducing ones.

Locusts have 7(8 mastered) module slots now.
That's hilarious.

- There will be a new MELEE mech weapon.
Community after MLEE weapon update:
- That is too OP. Need nerf!
PGI:
- O'kay, we'll nerf some lazors.

That's what I feel after they give "free" artillery slots to every mech.

Especially the second book (that I'm currently reading) where the Daishi has forward bending knees... *facepalm*
