I'm curious about the hardpoints of the Spider tomorrow... Will it be the worst mech ever or will they improve the hardpoints?

I don't think they'll improve the hard points. One of two things will happen tomorrow:

1. Spider turns out to be useful and gets popular.

or

2. Spider turns out to be garbage and becomes the new Commando.

That's intriguing.
The Longbow in MW4M was really the Unseen, not the Reseen. I wonder how they did that.

About the mech itself, all possible (and few) variants are basically the same thing.

I didn't actually know that. But it's still limited by it's total weight (30 Tons) and the need for JJ's.

That would require them to already have netcode sorted out. I personally don't want to see trollmandos all over again.

The hardpoints list for the Spider is already posted somewhere here, I saw it yesterday. Can't exactly remember where.
But as far as I remember that post, every variant had 4 hardpoints.
The one with the machine guns still has 2 energy hardpoints.
The one with the flamer has 2 energy hardpoints each in CT and that one arm.
Not sure where the hardpoints of the other variant are, but I think it also has 4, spread over the torso. (maybe 1 LT, 1 RT, 2 CT.)
also, 1 of them is ECM capable, due to that post.
(I don't know how speculative it is really, but the poster seemed to be 100% sure about it.)

I just found a post by Sennin about it, but with few information (just one variant).
