I'd buy that. I loved my Battlemasters, but the all-missiles or all-energy loadouts got boring after a couple months. I can't count the arm hardpoints, since they are on those useless gorilla-like knuckle-dragger arms...

- During the Clan releases we only get Heroes(Spider and the 6 Phoenix)
- The next IS chassis will be released as Mech Pack first
I fear that too...
I wouldn't mind much with that if they work hard to bring the 8 (maybe 12) remaining Clan omnimechs of the early invasion.

I'm hoping they actually finish up the IS mechs that still need it, such as the Awesome, by doing hitbox passes and dynamic weaponry, etc. Several old designs still need heroes too.

Completely agree. I prefer the pack approach to individual releases.

There always needs to be new C-bill mechs in the pipeline or the server population will drop between releases. I vote against moving to quarterly or semi-annual mech releases.
Look at my forum signature, I am nearly out of chassis to master as it is, I am not waiting until 2015 for new IS mech. Knowing the devs that Kit Fox will drop late August, meaning weeks ands weeks of boredom.
If they make the Arrow 50% off, I might buy that. Nothing else.

I like it for the 30% boost but over time it gets expensive.

The evidence that I have is more based on common sense and logical conclusion than anyone at PGI saying something. One question is "would you buy something that costs real money when you could make that same purchase in a week for in game money?" Most people with common sense would say no unless they had money laying around to burn or really had to have that mech. Now that same question but now you had to wait a few months and they make one of the 3+ mechs have a 30% c-bill boost and a lot more people will fork over a few bucks to get early access plus an edge. I know this because I ended up getting a'la carte Timber Wolf and of all the Clan mechs that I see in game. Then you figure out how many fewer people will pay real money for something that you can buy for free and you start to see their profits tapering off once the c-bill variants become available. So now the only noticeable income for that chasis would be the hero variant of that mech since you cannot get it any other way. All this tells me that it is more profitable to 'dangle a steak in front of a starving man when he knows that he is not going to eat for a week.' $55 dollars for 3 Timber Wolfs (possibly more if they do hero Clan mechs), yet if I had waited then PGI would only have made $7 dollars for 3 mech bays. Which option made them more money?
