So with this discussion and answers from the Town hall meeting...Clan Battlemechs, no-omni ones...He likes the idea of the IIC's but he didn't go into details about Clan ones like the Kodiak and Grizzly (Yogi and Boo Boo!) But later ones such as my Fav the Madcat Mk.II....will these EVER be possible or are they to "OP" and imbalanced? Couldn't IIC and later open market for Clan Tech through out the InnerSphere bring more balance? Just would like you guys prediction if these mechs will ever be brought in.

That depends on the levels of customization the non-omni Clan mechs will have. I suppose even with the IS levels of customization, they won't be OP. (though an assault mech will really enjoy those Clan Xl Engines...)

One thing to keep in mind with the Cauldron Born...

Nova was a rather short mech.
And the Cauldron Born had a reputation for being built kinda like the King Crab (IE: longer/wider than tall)

Could be we wind up with a mix of the Nova and Crab that way.

If they go King Crab style, great, Nova not so much... The Nova was modeled far bigger than it should have been.

As I said, please let the Ebon Jaguar have decent to good hit boxes....

I predict Star league era mechs will be the only IS mech that can mount clan tech. Its the only way to get people to buy them unless they get blessed with quirks.
