OMG, this is ground breaking!! Catalyst is indeed going to "bite the bullet".
BTW, those look exactly like Alex Iglesias drawings. But are actually Anthony Scroggins', no doubt with MWO's inspiration.
PGI, do Project Phoenix II, please!!!
- Tier 1 Pack, $40 = Wasp and Stinger
- Tier 2 Pack, $80 = previous tier + Valkyrie and Phoenix Hawk
- Tier 3 Pack, $120 = previous tiers + Rifleman and Crusader
- Tier 4 Pack, $160 = previous tiers + Archer and Warhammer
- Tier 5 Pack, $200 = previous tiers + Marauder and Longbow
- (Possible) Reinforcements Pack or Reward: Marauder II
And, since the gates of hell are open, what about the definitive IIC Packages? (could be broken in two packs, however, making it an "Origins Trilogy" - since people would have spend a lot of money with the Phoenix II)

- Tier 3 Pack, $120 = previous packs + Heavy mechs: Marauder and Warhammer
- Tier 4 Pack, $160 = previous packs + Assault mechs: Longbow and Marauder II
- Reinforcements Pack, $55 (needs to get first any of the Tiers) = bonus Heavy mechs: Archer, Crusader, Rifleman
*not a Macross unseen, but it is a cool design and an Unseen anyway.

**OK, not an Unseen at all, but the opportunity for Clanners to have their own trashcam.
Think they'll take a pint or two of blood as payment? I'm horrible, I don't know my blood type but it must be good, the darn hospitals are always calling me asking for more...
OK, I'm just putting this here because it's good and hard to find. Study about the Unseen variants:

So, after a package theory-crafting, HERE, I figured I'd try to do another dive into creative theory-crafting and look at what variants we'd get and what their hardpoints could look like in MWO. For stock loadouts, one can easily find them at Sarna.net. I tried to stick to variants that would have the potential to provide flavor and variety, once assigned hardpoints. I know it's not perfect, but that's pretty much impossible to achieve. Everyone will have their own opinions on what "perfect hardpoints" for the variants would be. However, constructive feedback is always appreciated.

OK, I'm just putting this here because it's good and hard to find. Study about the Unseen variants:
Glad you like it and find it useful. Honestly, although some people say the unseen have nothing unique to offer, or that hardpoints might be poor/in poor places, I think they'll do great things. Some of those chassis (and their potential hardpoints) have a great deal of unique material to offer.
Some were so versatile they were like a lot of the Firestarter variants, and required no real hardpoint inflations. Others required very little. I think the only chassis that has almost no variety is the Valkyrie, but at least it still offers a jumpy IS 30ton chassis that carries respectable missiles.
Sadly, though, some mechs (like the Warhammer) have many variants that have next to no variety in them. That could lead the way for PGI to be very lazy, and supply 3 (or even 4) variants for the package that are nearly identical. The Crusader, Warhammer, Phoenix Hawk, Marauder, and Archer would all be in Jeopardy of that. I had to actually look for the variants that would provide the most variety. I have to hope that PGI would do the same thing.
Honestly I really hope that PGI has looked at my study/theory-crafting and takes it to heart.
Odanan, since you're a volunteer moderator, putting in a good word would be awesome, please. There's a lot of people wanting to throw money at PGI for these wonderful mechs.

You can count on me.
I honestly hope PGI is aware of how the Macross Unseen are important to Battletech/Mechwarrior. Finally releasing them will be something like "closing the circle".

It would be the beginning of the final battle we've been fighting with HG for decades. The end of the battle will be decided if we keep them.
I know they are important from a nostalgic point of view, but do they even bring something new to the table concerning mech layouts? Because if we already have a lot of similar mechs, then I'd rather PGI spend time on improving the actual game than on raking in the easy dollars.

at this point there is nothing new to bring to the table regarding mech layouts. It's all pretty much been done. Though the Phoenix Hawk could be a better version of the Arrow due to speed. (and because the high mounts on the arrow don't matter much)
and since, as hasbeen beat to death since Closed Beta, the people who make the stompy robots are not the same ones working on maps, weapons, balance, netcode, etc, the modelers making money to allow even more of the other stuff to happen is sort of a good thing.

What Bishop said. It is not about hardpoints; it is about adding mechs that keep people interested and bring in the money for all of the other projects that people ask for that do not.

Mhm.
I'm one of the people, who give 0 f*cks about hardpoints.
