Probably won't happen, but ever since MW2 Mercs, I've had a soft spot for the Salamander, of all mechs.



It might be a rebranded AWS-8R, but it does come with a Jump Jet variant!

Let's hope. I'm sick of all the BS that some of my favorite battletech mechs being stuck in limbo, will hopefully finally resurface once again. With all of the facts presented to the judge and from the court hearings from Tasunoko productions, it will boil down to how good PGI's lawyers will be.

Meanwhile, 4 days for the next mech beauty. Will it be the Fafnir? or the Argus?

EDIT: or will PGI surprise us with the MW5 pre-orders? (because... Christmas?)

You know, with all that talk of the Anvil a while back, I kinda want it to be paired with the Hammer. Yeah, the Hammer is kinda a meme mech in terms of stock armament(2 LRM 5s and 3 Medium lasers), but it could be a decent mech overall, you know, if they fixed scaling...

It would be appropriate but I would be worried it'd have wide torsos and I wouldn't want it to hinder an Anvil release if it ever happens.

What this points to is a "new generation" in terms of Battletech visuals. Prior to this, "hodgepodge" is a nice way to describe what BT robots looked like. Now...

I hate em both TBH... though the Motorcycle helmet would have worked had it been made narrow, IMO.
