Not a fan of LFE being introduced in this game, certainly not anytime soon.

Or alternate LRM ammo at a minimum. Thunder (mines) and Swarm LRMs came out in 2621 and are within the timeline. Inferno (heat) and Smoke LRMs would be a nice gameplay touch also.

Not really. The mechs that primarily benefit from LFE are mechs like the Atlas that need buffs.
Mechs like the stalker dont benefit from LFE.
Also lights dont benefit much from LFE either, because XL weighs less.

Agreed, it'd also justify lessening some overdone quirks.
