I don't think simply adding the turret damage to the 'mech damage is the way to go since it has a different risk vs. reward ratio and should therefore be rewarded differently. To solve both issues there are two apparent solution although there are probaly a lot more than the ones i can think of right now:
1. tower/generator damage counts at a reduced ratio, for example 50%
2. introduction of another reward stat for either/or the reward list (easy to implement) or the damage counter screen at the end of the match (rather complicated i think)

I say, let damage dealt to both Turrets and Generators count towards the overall damage dealt. Turrets will hurt you just like Mechs, and firing on the Generators means exposing yourself to Turrets and Mechs.

Also I would like to see match score rewards, and maybe achievements, for things like Generator Kills, Generator Assists, Turret Kills, etc...

We should get damage award and a generator assist bonus, and a special solo generator kill bonus.
The same on opening gates, and damaging Omega.

It's the same BS reason they used to justify pulling the base capture wins in Assault and not rewarding resource wins in Conquest.

If your taking down the generators either to open the doors or open up the omega, you often take significant damage from defenders to do so and should be rewarded.

If you don't kill the turrets,generators, and Omega you lose. Yet the damage does not count this provides a disincentive to try to win. This needs changed.
