Incoming Reward Adjustments For House Kurita, Marik, And Free Rasalhague Republic

ComStar News Bureau Agents are confirming reports that House Kurita, House Marik, and the Free Rasalhague Republic have just undertaken reward adjustments for all Loyalists and Mercs.

Adjusted reward amounts are reported to be as follows:

House Kurita
62,500 C-bills (a 25% increase to standard C-bills)
65 Loyalty Points (a 30% increase to standard Loyalty Points)

House Marik
62,500 C-bills (a 25% increase to standard C-bills)
65 Loyalty Points (a 30% increase to standard Loyalty Points)

Free Rasalhague Republic
100,000 C-bills (a 100% increase to standard C-bills)
100 Loyalty Points (a 100% increase to standard Loyalty Points)

Bureau Agents are also reporting that the previous reward adjustments performed by House Liao, Clan Smoke Jaguar, and Clan Jade Falcon, are still in effect.

Excellent!

Market dynamics should begin to shift gamers to better balance faction populations.

It won't happen all at once and it might not save many worlds from falling...


BUT it does suitably reward those MechWarriors who stayed true to these Houses.

Would be even better if the bonuses were global rather than just per contract.

If there was a modifier similar to the Cbill and/or xp bonus that hero and champion mechs get, but instead based on faction bonus that would be really nice. Maybe not 100%, but the contract bonus isn't as appealing considering that per drop you get loads more xp and cbills than a measly contract bonus.

Also, if these updates with changes could be pinned here and/or featured on the main page, that would be great thanks.

Alex you need to adjust rewards for the solo/casual MM games by 30-50% so we can buy more mechs and modules to be competitive in CW or you need to adjust the CW MM queues so lower level mechs with basic skills and no modules can group up and have fun in CW.

Don't drive us away from MWO and uninstall your game just make it fun and diverse for all players not just 12 man groups and your staff for CW and solo game play.

All off us had to do it the hard way.

To be honest I do not even use modules.


Out off all my 76 mechs I own. I only got 2 enhanced zooms, 1 ER small laser cooldown and 1 er small laser (For my 12 er small laser nova). and that's it.

the grand price of all those modules is like 10 million. (but there is no reason to use the er small laser module anywhere else so without it it's...) 6 million.

If you are using the holiday 7 days premiumtime PGI gave out for free then you should be easily making 6 mill to get more modules then me.

Anyway. 1 time I dropped in 100% stock trial mecsh and I got 2000 damage and my team won the map. The trials were only 2 mediums and 2 lights.

See? I didn't even need modules or even pilot skills to do good in CW.

Then my hat is off to you sir :) good job your skill must be x100 mine I have 1 mech a summoner no modules and basic skill and if I am lucky to get 1-3 matches a day waiting 15+ minutes a try to play I personally get my assss handed to me every time by 12 man groups.

To be perfectly honest its just no fun at all in CW and a huge waste of my gamming time.And like i said with the rewards being so low in solo MM games im not going to spend 500 hours grinding out mechs and modules when the game is getting very unfun in so many ways.

How about an adjustment to address ghost drops. It feels like a kick in the nuts when all the work you did gets swept away. : /

I think you may be better walking away and trying Titanfall or something else. Its going to be easier on you. I did the hard yards on some things and spent some money on others like GXP conversions to speed up my progress (and as an unintentional bonus, helped pay the game staffs salaries so the game stays around a bit longer) so I dont see that it should be changed much to make the grind less. The grind to jets in warthunder is a billion times more tedious and painful and I have totally given up on that battle and just enjoyed flying low tier planes and having fun. Same with this game. I enjoy fights even when I loss horribly.

Also... you have only the one Summoner... thats one of the hardest Clan mechs to play well. You may have bought the wrong mech for your skill set and play style. Instead of increasing rewards, perhaps PGI could include more information and ratings or reviews relating to each mech chassis so now players like yourself are better informed before committing to buying a chassis and ending up making a big mistake.

Again with Warthunder, I spent real money buying a P-38 Lightning fighter as I'm a girl much in love with old aircraft and have my pilots licence so thought the P-38 looked awesome and would be fun to fly...

... it was a oil tanker to turn and mostly totally crap in my hands. I made a mistake , couldn't score enough to upgrade it much and if I had stuck to it, I would have hated the game like you are starting too with MWO, and given up. Instead I parked it and bought a ugly unexciting looking Boomerang and had a blast!

As soon as its not fun, its time to move on.

First off I would say (don't troll me) for my opinions.
Second I have jets and tier v tanks in WarThunder and yes I have paid for some premium time so I know grinding.
Third I came to play MWO because I was looking for something different than just a grind/boring game MWO does not have to model WOT or WarThunder or any other MMO to be fun and profitable.

But the Devs and staff seem determined to drive me away with another boring grind and more time wasted waiting to play CW than it should be. TitanFall is fun but not my cup of tea I found out after buying it for $30.00 USD.

Is it so much to ask as a player and possible customer of MWO that the game be fun? low wait times for CW?(5 min tops per drop) and a mech that actually takes some damage? My god im not asking for the moon here just a fun game I can play and enjoy and spend some $$$$$$ on.

I ran the Mechwarrior Registry from 1996-2006 or so....

We had a resource based planetary system and mechs were acquired in a different way, but in general the problems for new player were the same. Getting their butt beat by excellent players, which in the end drew down the players from 10,000 to about 25 at the end of MW4.

I strongly recommend allowing players to transfer MC or axe MC completely and replace it with Bitcoin. This will allow us to "gift" new players some decent equipment as a community. Additionally, replacing MC with Bitcoin will remove all transaction fees and security risks associated with Credit Cards. It is the only viable secure form of payment on Earth.

I hate to turn this to Bitcoin, but we are entering a new age of hacking and security threats. Banks are now targets and credit cards are a security punch line.

I have only 1 thing to say to this statement (FUCKK YOUU MICROSOFT) for shutting down the MSN Gamming zone and leaving over a million active MW2-4 players hanging.

If the MSN gamming zone was still around it would still be full of thousands of MW4 pilots playing leagues.
MWO is a good game and all it needs is a good social environment for new player to unite chat form groups and have fun like we did in MW2-MW4 for the next 10 years.

I waited a long time for a new MechWarrior game don't blow it PGI think about making MWO fun and diverse for the players and fans and not about your next YACHT.

The only punch line is the joke of a currency known as bitcoin. You want to use a wildly fluctuating money that's not backed up by federal protection or real markets be my guest. For the rest of the sane people we will stick with a currency that won't crash at the whim of an overzealous teenager with a button at his command.


P.S. Bitcoin is vulnerable to the same cryptography that affects banks and cards. Just nobody cares enough about it to break it.

Also I based on the actual topic at hand I think Comstar getting there paws dirty in offering money to help "Balance" the player base for a certain faction is completely against the whole idea of CW anyways.

CW was supposed to allow US to change the map as we seen fit. Offering money to balance out the factions is working against that goal. If the player base and skill base where completely even we wouldn't see the map move at all. Is that what you wanted?

The map is moving in those directions because that's the will of the players. As a Davion I hate Liao, and they are going extinct like they should.

Again the whole point of CW was for us to take over planets and change the map as WE see fit! Comstar (PGI) messing with the rewards so that people stop the map from moving in certain directions is going against that aspect of CW.

I love how steiners still dont get anything even though we have over 1/3 of the contested worlds to deal with..... that right "balance" the faction numbers with each other not with the amount of worlds they have to fight on and for. Makes perfect sense, Steiners have lost more worlds than anyone but we dont get anything.

If this is not a facetious troll post (epic if so) than you have no idea what you are talking about!!!!!!!! The only reason there even is Inner Sphere factions to start with is cause of Comstar. Naturally Fed Suns & the Lyrans would have conquered everyone else it Comstar wasn't working overtime for centuries to make sure that didn't happen. They want to rule the Inner Sphere not the Great Houses just like it was under the old SLDF. They knocked up Romano Liao with Hanse Davions sperm to make Sun Tzu, since the Liao bloodline had become crazy and incapable of effective ruling any more. How much more meddling can you get???

In a decade they are going to launch the Jihad and nuke planets, just so they can set up the Republic of the Sphere and gain control of a large chunk of space... Comstar is not neutral at all. They have an agenda they are working on and have been working on for a long long time. Pay attention so they dont catch you slipping.

Partly right but it also depends on truces in effect, I know there are some.
I did a general list of one time showing how many battles each faction had to face. A problem with it is the location of some are where 3 factions meet, example at the time Luzerne was a GB planet, K could attack it but what about SJ? St. John was R but both W and GB looked like they could attack it.
