12 tons of armor
jump jets
ER Laser (Large)
ER Laser (Medium) ((if they make it in the game))
ER Laser (Medium) ((if they make it in the game))
ER Laser (Medium) ((if they make it in the game))
Gauss Rifle
SRM 4
it works out rules wise for TT but as we all know, TT is not MWO, although from what we've seen MWO is about the closest game ever to the "real thing" as far as canon goes.
This will be my primary mech (as long as the Orion isn't in the game)
of course if the Orion does make it in, I'll be sporting a configuration similar to the Orion IIC probably downgrading some stuff to get it all worked out.
As a secondary mech I will probably use the Trench Bucket or a Raven

What are your guy's configurations following the Hardpoint and Critcials?
BTW, for hardpoints, i replaced one for one though you can probably thro in a extra slot or 2 in the place where the weapon is, like for the hunchbacks AC20, i think their was 3 balistics slots if you were just doing AC2's.

yeah go head with that configuration. i will just sit at long range and pick you apart. but then again. i love my long range energy weapons.

I'll have to try to find a balance between "enough armor to not get alphastriked" and "ZOOM ZOOM" or having enough ammo to keep shooting. Depends on how fast I burn through (hah!) my ammo.
Could be especially deadly on Frozen City, where people will likely be more gungho with their energy weapons and be taken completely off guard by a sudden heat infusion. Might get a few shutdowns, and then the Narc hits...

Harass PGI for a Naginata, one variant can probably pull off something like my Quake mechs (clicky link, don't wanna flood forum with images). The Narc version is probably better because you have more armor and some med laser backup but will require a light friendly with a narc launcher to assist (made using QuickMech). Even if only half the missiles hit of the 12 volleys of 80 LRMs it's going to be painful, you'd have enough ammo to crush 2 assaults or disintegrate a lot more lighter ones.

It should be since they said they will follow TT's criticals rule in addition to the hardpoints.

Someone get this man a stalker (maybe not this exact variant). I bet you that you could toss the lasers to have 2 LRM 20s, and maybe toss the SRM to put on 1 (possibly 2) more LRM 20. That would be 60-80 LRM per salvo. That would just be evil. Assuming you could fit all 4 launchers you should be able to use the Artemis IV system with each launcher and 12 tons of ammunition. You have enough critical space left over for 2 CASE to store all that ammo in your chest and enough weight to upgrade the engine once. And while you would have no other weapons at all you would be able to launch 24 volleys of 80 missiles at a time. Somehow I have a feeling they aren't going to let you do this.... although I would like to see that many missiles raining down on a target.

Look at my stalker variant, it is only possible for 3 but if the atlas has 4 missle hardpoints it should be possible.....i hope to snipe you in a duel on the battlefield.

4/6/4 mv 12 tonnes of armor 15 dhs
2 erppcs
2 ppcs
All torso mounted. Er give good sniping ability and standards have respectible range and much more managable heat.
For a trade off of 3 tonnes less armor, it has 33% more firepower than an awesome, it is faster and it is jump capable

Other then what i have 2 configs which i use a lot - first is 6 LL (or ERLL) with maxed armor, average speed and heatsinks, and second is Gauss, LRM-20 and pair of Larges (or PPC) with the same. Since last one was originaly developed for Cyclops - you can call it my Command config )

I'm done with this crappy version of a mech lab, someone bring a decent one because this is just rediculus.
That's an issue with your browser then, because it works fine for me. Also, you can't put an LRM-20 in the CT because it doesn't have enough Crits available (Largest LRM that can go in CT is an LRM-10).
